Pochetino is a drunker, how can a coach with normal working brains start 3 striker's at once and still expect good result, it not going to be possible. Poor defensive, no dominating, Neymar is the worst plate I've ever seen, they shouldn't have start neymar. Just small money way i go collect, my village people say na PSG them go use cut am.

I don't have a favourite between those two, but I'd choose Messi to be in my team over Ronaldo ten times out of ten.

I'd prefer a player who plays with his team and creates chances for others than one who's bent on personal achievements. I didn't watch the game but according to this information, Messi created chances for his team mates. That means he didn't have a bad game, the striker just wasn't prolific enough.

Ronaldo scored against Young boys but his goals didn't save Man United from losing that game. Imagine he was a Messi and he scored and then created chances for his team mates, then there would have been a probability for Man United to win or draw that game (with a red card).

If you rate an attacker based on goals scored alone, then you have so much to learn about football. An attacker should be rated based on goals scored + chances created (whether or not those chances were converted or not).

If you rate Ronaldo and Messi based on the combination of those two criteria, then Messi is miles ahead, not to mention his dribbling ability which is actually secondary but brings entertainment.

In conclusion: Messi ahead of Ronaldo ten out of ten times.

But anyone who watched the game won't say Messi wasn't PSG best player on the pitch tonight
Credit to Brugge for being brave in their approach but yet

Messi had 3 key passes, created one big chance, a shot on goal and had a shot hit the cross bar, completed 3 dribbles, missed a chance too.

Unlike your Ronaldo that was removed when his team needed him and they still lost.

EmmanuelScott1:
Star-studded Paris Saint-Germain were held to a surprising 1-1 draw by Club Brugge on Wednesday night in Group A in Flanders.

Lionel Messi made his first start for PSG, lining up alongside former Barcelona teammate Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the XI for the first time since joining from the Catalan giants in the summer.

Despite a long list of high-profile arrivals in Paris, it was Ander Herrera that opened the scoring in the 15th minute for the visiting side, reaching behind him to lash home a left-footed shot after Mbappe picked him out in the middle of the penalty area.

"We didn't play a fantastic game, but to be fair we did enough to win, we deserved to win," said Herrera.

"Maybe they had opportunities at the beginning of the second half but I think we controlled the match, we had a lot of chances."

Brugge hit back before the half-hour when Hans Vanaken powered a first time shot past Keylor Navas from Eduard Sobol's inch-perfect cross into the centre of the box to put the match back on level terms.

Mauricio Pochettino's side found themselves under pressure from the Belgian champions after the leveller, but they managed to get into the dressing room for half-time in a 1-1 draw.

Mbappe, who went to ground in the first half and came off briefly, then limped off the pitch early in the second after an awkward tangle with a pair of Brugge defenders and was replaced by Mauro Icardi.

Both sides pushed for a go-ahead goal as the second half wore on, and Messi had a great chance saved by Simon Mignolet around 70 minutes before the Argentine was shown yellow for a challenge on Brugge's Mats Rits.

"I didn't have a lot of work, I just pulled a couple of saves. We played as a compact side, it was the right approach," the Belgian said.

No winner came for either club and the teams settled for a point apiece to trail Manchester City, who thrashed RB Leipzig on Wednesday, in the group

The funny thing is that irrespective of how many mock post you create, Messi will still the Ligue 1, win the BEST PLAYER award (Balon d or), get praises as the No 1 forever and at the end still score more goals than Ronaldo. he already has more freekicks than Ronaldo, more Hat tricks, better international records and stats, and finally more trophy. RONALDO will always play second fiddle

Try harder!

Anybody that watched that match knows that Mbappe was PSG best player in that field until his withdrawal because of injury.
Messi was totally not in that game until around 70+ minutes before he started showing glimpse of his creative self.
Honestly,PSG was fortunate in that match,if club brugge were more clinical,it would have ended in victory for the home side.
PSG players cut frustrated figure through out that match, looking clueless and lacking idea of how to contain brugge's high energy game plan.

Ronaldo was removed not because he can't deliver at that point. He was removed because man u coach is clueless and there was a change in game plan. The plan was to sit back, absorb pressure and not concede any further.Ronaldo was never a guy to come defending for you, and since he don't have that scary pace to hit opposition on counter attack anymore, then ,removing him is the better option with such a game plan.
Just imagine removing Bruno as well, when you actually need creative sparks to kill off that game, even with 10 men.
It backfired ,and that actually underscore the growing believe among man u fans that they deserve a better coach.

They are Just being mischievous.

Out of Ronaldo's 783 career goals,136 are from the penalty spot.
Out of Messi's 748 career goals,100 are from the penalty spot.
Out of Ronaldo's 111 international goals , just 14 are from the penalty spot .
Out of Messi's 79 international goals,18 goals are from the penalty spot.

When they call Ronaldo penalty merchant, you will think his 770+ career goals,300+ are from the penalty spot.
And they all pretend like Messi's 740+ career goals, his penalty goals are not even up to 50.

What I'm saying in essence is that Messi is also a penalty merchant unlike how his fanboys will make you believe,if they consider Ronaldo a penalty merchant.
Having over 99+ career goals from the spot kick don't make you a saint in the penalty merchant argument.

These Barcelona/messi fans should just keep shut sometimes. Messi had the opportunity to play in a superior league with his Former coach and the champions of the league Man City, he chose France and PSG. Cristiano had the same opportunity but chose Man Utd because of loyalty and the belief he could help them be better. It takes IRON BALLS for a 36 yr old footballer to believe he can improve a team to be the best in the most challenging league in the world. Ronaldo has never taken a soft challenge all his life. The only time Messi was to leave his comfort zone, he chose France yet the fans will come here to Criticize Ronaldo. Ronaldo who have scored plenty goals with his head, left, right foot, free kicks.... his bicycle kick against Juventus got a standing ovation from the whole Stadium yet all you talk about is tap ins. If tap in was easy, Aiyegbeni should have score against S. Korea. Messi is a Great player in his own right so also is Cristiano. The Greatest Player of all time is Pele. You can argue from now till next year, the stats speaks for him

Ok, you refused to see where I said the three teams shared the Laliga trophy in 3 years?
Barca team was so bad that there was never a week they sit at the top of the table. Barca sold Suarez & rakitic with no replacement. Meanwhile Juve had no reason to lose the league to Inter who were made up of average players and mostly EPL rejects. Juve went from being Champion to fourth in the league, finished behind Inter, AC & Atlanta. That is a fraud. Barca were not the Champion, they lost to Madrid and Madrid lost to Athletico. That's fair competition. Ronaldo scored goals but made Juventus a worse team.
Just look at your hypocrisy. grin grin

Look at your logic.
Ronaldo - Serie A top scorer, but he made the team bad and is the reason they didn't win the League.

Messi - La Liga top scorer, but according to you, he didn't make the team lose the title and finish third place.

The exact same scenario but you used different logic. grin
You see why nobody likes Messi fanboys? grin
