With fervent practice, 6months is enough. If anyone prefers to use 2yrs, it's okay lipsrsealed Try DELF, & DALF exam then you'll know TEF is just for beginner (basic).

Please stop this if its a joke to avoid misleading people.
How dare you compare DELF/DALF to TEF? angry

Dear Team,

Please I wrote my first ielts and I got the following result.

L-8.5, S-7.5, R-7, W-7.

I would like to remark reading and writing.

Please advice if it is worth remarking.

Also please I need advice on if I can ace TEF in 6 months without any prior knowledge of French.

Regards
Suogal

This question requires a tactical answer.

It can be possible if only you sleep, eat and drink French but anything side this is all lies.

You also need to make your decision fast if learning French is required to gain more points, but make sure you use the right tutor (someone who knows about TEF and has passed). Many tutors only know about DELF/DALF but won't impact the right knowledge you need for TEF.

Even if you eat sleep, breathe French you cannot go from beginner to the level you need to ace TEF in 6months but you can go very far. If you dedicate your time and yourself, I don’t mean 3 hours or study per day. I mean immersing yourself in the language, listen to French music, listen to podcasts while you go to work, listen to french news. Basically live your life in French. And then do a preparatory Class for TEF You can do it in 8/9 months. That’s what I did. TEF is nothing like DALF, don’t be deceived. It’s more like TCF although I heard TCF if slightly easier. If you want to start, start now.

Please do you have to ace TEF. I thought getting to B2 level will give you 50 points, which i think is enough to add to the marks you already have or am i wrong?

Try DELF, & DALF exam then you'll know TEF is just for beginner (basic).

TEF and DALF/DELF are not comparable as they have completely different structures, that you are even comparing them is a red flag grin

To get the 50 bonus CRS points candidates need at least CLB7 in all 4 parts.....LRWS....... which is equivalent to a high B2/C1 in all papers....this is universally described as upper intermediate level.

Sample tests are available for free so prospects can see for themselves.....
https://www.lefrancaisdesaffaires.fr/tests-diplomes/outils-preparation-tef/

These and more are just a google search away for anyone seriously considering TEF or even Express Entry. Most times when we are misinformed, we simply haven't taken the time to read a little.

una good morning o smiley

Good morning Team,

I am planning to start my PR soon, I have already sat for IELTS L 9.0, R 9.0, S 6.5, W 7. Total score : 8.0.
I am 27 years of age, and I would like to know if I still need extra certificate to boost my score.

Again, I read computer engineering and I have five years of IT experience.
I am currently working on my transcripts in order for it to get evaluated.

I have no siblings or family members in Canada just family friends.

I will need all your advises guys to make this a success.

Thanks.

You need to read and research a lot if you are on this journey.
Please go through the first post on page 1 very well.

Use this link for simulating your scores
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
And also, you need a minimum of 8777 in LRSW respectively to have a good score which you happen not to know, hence my reason for referring you to page 1 and digest it.

Wow! Beautiful result for Listening and Reading, however, you need to remark your speaking and writing if it's not too late for a remark. Take the short IT course called BCS to claim two or more certificates to improve your scores.

Haven't taken TEF myself, but just browsing through both their curricula, also they both have different approaches towards their certifications. You're a real joke man grin
Your comment made for a good laugh sha.

There's a lady on the TEF thread Ayandee(I think) who was able to do TEF and pass well in 6 months. Regardless, anyone aiming to pass TEF in a year or less will have to breathe, eat, live, wake and sleep French...

Thank you for your response, I will check out the BCS IT courses, however I intend to acquire some Microsoft IT certification courses..

I will like to know if outside these IT certifications, if my score is not good to go for a provincial nomination.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks

Everything was about #97,000. (96k for WES payment, and about 1k for the creation of the virtual dollar card.)

So 230 CAD = 182.53 USD as at the time I paid

182.53 * 528 = approximately 96400

Charges for creating a virtual dollar card brought the money to a rounded down figure of 97,000

Hi. Please what did you fill in the column for billing address? Is it the address on the flutterwave virtual card? And what did you fill in for phone number? Your Nigerian number? I’m having difficulties paying for Wes with the flutterwave dollar card. The payment isn’t going through.

Try resending the webform and this time attach the required documents for adding spouse. You are likely to get an Afghanistan auto reply but I'm hoping they go back to review the webforms with attachments. List of required docs here: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/185#95901375

Also try sending the same docs by email to Ottawa cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca

If by boost your immigration documents you mean CRS score. You can write BCS and claim points for two or more certs. it’s a computer science certification. If you mean you want to change NOC and enter the tech field, it depends on what area. You could learn Excel, python, My SQL and take a data analysis course (doable in 6-8months ) to become an entry level data analyst.

Please you need to read and understand this process, do not depend solely on what being told

I read on your post that it's only certificates you have. You need a degree/certificate of a minimum of 3 years completion to be combined with any approved certification to have "two or more degrees ".
