Nothing to see here. Just an error from the designer. Likely scenario is that the designer was told to go install it without the department checking it for accuracy

The duty of a lecturer is to lecture. Works department should be answerable for stuffs like this. That the printer made a typo does not imply that the school is not sound academically or neither churning out half baked graduates.
