Of most engineers and installers do not know how to work with this,
I asked my engineer Two questions
1)Why can’t we use a single Water heater for all the rooms instead of using different ones for over 4 rooms.
2)Instead of using different ACs for parlour, dinning, Rooms, gym/library, office and co (AC already entering like over 10pieces), is it not possible to have a Single AC (I believe this should be possible) that will serve the whole house, we merely need to have control for each room to regulate the temp, i saw such in hotels and when I travelled out.

His response? Not possible for a residential apartment

1.You can have a single water heater for your building.The only issue is that when the Heater needs repair or service,it will render all the rooms useless for that time.
For Residential building - Average
For Hotels - Please don't try it.

2.Thats why we have a VRF system.you can have as much 20 indoor units that are less than 4kw on a single outdoor unit.

Nice one, my only issue with the door is the Medussa head design on the door.... would have been better without it.... would give it a 6 over 10.

Without the Medussa head design..... ratings would have gone a bit higher....

I see it a lot on peoples gate & it makes the gate look really local..... like Ekuké dog irrespective of the materials used in the gate design.....

Below is exactly what I’m replicating on this project.

Doing things right in Nigeria can be very funny though. Instead people do right things (like start construction without a permit and wait for boys to come and settle them).

I said we budgeted 100million.
The project is still on going..

We constructed retaining wall around the perimeter of the warehouse, had to raised the floor above the road level. The structure has offices, stores ,cloakrooms,elevated water tanks and more.

The electical and mechanical works are still going on. And then the fittings , finishes and automation..... ..

Finally, I took my first shot at local steel door. I made this for the stairwell of an ongoing project.

Installation tomorrow.

Pls note this door is not armoured but it’s very heavy. It’s not cheap either.

In my case it’s not about the size or effectiveness of solar heater (I actually own a renewable energy company), I need multiple source of energy. So, electric water heater plus solar water heater. Like for house power I use a hybrid inverter so I get power from solar panels or generator or NEPA.

Using a solar hybrid inverter will minimize the consumption on NEPA. U will pay less only if you are using prepaid meter. I don't know if your solar inverter will be able to power all your AC, if it can power all tye AC then you will hardly use NEPA.

I have a client that installed 25KVA solar hybrid inverter for his duplex and decided not to connect to national grid(NEPA). But he spent huge amount of money installing the solar then . 72nos of DECAGEL(made in USA) baterry installed which can last for 24hrs on full load.

Normally yes, but I had a bit more warranty issues than I cared for with my current supplier so I’m researching new ones.

I never have any any issues with metcoppo in different locations for my buildings. I hope you guys are using the good thicker ones. I used 0.50mm never have any problem for over 7 years

You are lucky. I wasn't so lucky. Metcoppo is a hit or miss design.
