Hello everyone
Earlier today, I was trying to create a profile for my express entry, I got to the point of imputing my personal reference code and I am getting some error message.
NOTE: The code I am imputing is correct.
Here is a screenshot of the error message I am getting.
Kindly advice on what to do

Type it, don't copy and paste.

Hello everyone

My BSc degree and Professional Certificate (CIPM) were evaluated by WES as "Bachelor's degree (three years) and Bachelor's degree (four years)". Is this how the WES report is for everyone with such profile?

While completing my IRCC application, there was no option of "Two or more degrees" as I see on the CRS Tools, I only saw the "Bachelors Degree" option and "Master's Degree or licensed certification" option. So, I picked "Bachelor's Degree" option for both at the point where asked the equivalent of my degrees as stated in my WES report .

But after submitting my application, my overall score dropped by 40 points as against the score I got when I used the CRS Tool.

Please I will appreciate your advice.

Thank you.
Hi, there is no option for two or more certificates when creating an EE profile, however, you're required to input both certificates in your profile. That is after inputting your BSc, you scroll down and select the option of add another qualification (this is not what we have there verbatim but use it as an idea). Once you input both of them and you complete your profile, the system automatically calculates your CRS score with the two or more certificates point. Revert with a feedback once successful. Wish you all the best.

Thank you so much for responding... I have completed my application but my overall score is way lower than what I got on the CRS Tool (almost 40 points lower). That's my concern.

What she meant was, you are to enter details of your Bsc twice since you have two, did you?

Yes, I did... The discrepancy in both scores can be seen in:

1. Level of Education: CRS is 128, while EE is 120
2. Skills Transferability Factors Education: CRS is 50, EE is 25

Did you include your CIPM in your application? For your score to fall short, you either didn't calculate your scores right or didn't fill out the application properly.

Hello Everyone.

I have 6 years of experience in about 4 companies but I'll like to know the number of years of experience one needs to input to get the maximum points while creating a profile.

Secondly, would I be required to provide reference letters from all employers if I decide to put in all of them.

I'm asking because there's an employer I don't want to meet for reference letters.

Thanks

This country na wa!

Was looking to take advantage of the bank rate of 461 before.

Tried the Barter by Flutterwave, they quoted 576 today. When Mallam quoted 572. I've settled for dorm account.

Thanks for the info.

We are back to square 1.

Hopefully they can focus on governance (read immigration) now.
The rest of the world has moved on, they should do same .Encourage high levels vaccination including booster shots and get back to work.

Hey guys,

It's been 9 months since I last visited this page... I remember when I was also going through this process, posting here on NL and sometimes felt the Canada dream will never come. The almighty did it for me and my family and I am sure he will do same for ya'all. Since I arrived here in January this year, it's been a life changing journey with loads of opportunities and blessings!

Just thought to encourage everyone that the struggles and the seeming current unending wait will turn out good... It's all time. And trust me, it's all worth it.

Meanwhile, good news... The Liberals won the election yesterday... JT is still here so hopefully, the immigration pathway will gain some traction in the coming weeks/months. Fingers crossed!

Cheers guys!

If you have a Masters degree then next thing that would give you more points is PHD or taking French.

Thanks! Can't wait for you to come o! We all must encourage and support ourselves in this journey...honestly, it can be draining. I really give thumbs up to folks here that take time to guide people free of charge. I sometimes get irritated when I see those immigration consultants trying to exploit people cos they know better.

I really don't know much about the process cos mine was pretty straightforward but what I have been doing here in Canada is to help people settle, especially in the job side of things. The almighty blessed me to land a fantastic job within weeks of arrival (what some Canadians struggle to get) and I have since felt indebted to support others. I am in the HR/recruiting space here and I am very happy to connect with people on Linkedin for now, especially those that are on their way soon.

Thank you for your encouraging words. Honestly, we need more people like you, who have passed through this process and have started new lives over there to keep engaging those of us who are still behind.
I know it's not easy keeping up sometimes, especially while you're yet to be fully acclamatised and settled in your new found home, but it would be really nice if we could get that. Thanks, once again. smiley

It’s been awhile - just here to share a little bit of light to all those yet to get their PPRs.

Never give up. It may seem like it’s hard, endless and dark at the end of the tunnel, but once you receive your PPR, you won’t remember this feeling anymore.

For those coming to Calgary Alberta, especially those who have received PPR, feel free to hit me up if you need info or assistance.
