My school just notified me about the in-person registration deadline which I can't beat because I haven't even gotten my visa yet, I've kept them abreast with my ordeals and the unfortunate delays but according to them, there's nothing they can do other than to Withraw my application if i don't make it... What next steps should I take even I get the visa because I won't be able to use it

Good day Patriots, so I was talking to a student at the university I applied to (Teesside University) he was like the University is not great. Someone at UKEAS said he doesn’t like the school and don’t process for it hence the need to do some research.

Here is the thing, I have two admission.

1. Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow
1 year, £13k
(Chartered Institute Certified; CIWM, CIWEM, CIBSE)

2. Teesside University, Middlesbrough
2 years £7,5k
(advanced practice, 2nd year internship at a company)

Both for an MSc. Environmental Management

They are both not as expensive with respect to cost of living. Since they are up North.

Please I need wise counsel on this. Which is better holistically. No emotions allowed. Thanks

Who ever told you that was being myopic. My wife school's there, she did her first maters there and she's running her second at the moment. Asides the very flexible payment plan the school has a very conducive academic environment that will help any focused and determined student excel academically. Her rating in the UK isn't bad as well. Well the choice is yours to make. Kalas

What I mean: I used a dollar card for payment but you know the conversion will take place. You don't have to worry, Whichever card you use, pounds or dollars; will deduct what you should pay.

Your payable tuition becomes 13k and 50% is 6500. So if you pay 2k in Nigeria then you need to pay 4500 to make up 50% during enrolment. Can we link up cos I am considering UoB for January.

They might not have the pounds to pay out, cos normally they’ll give you the pound equivalent of 4k dollars. Getting the dollars from bank is still okay as changing it to pounds black market will pay you more than changing naira to pounds, black market.

He’s actually right. Hull sent the mail to everyone that applied this year, international students will pay same fees with home students for sept2021 only, from next year it goes back to their 14k tuition
