THE Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, has berated his counterpart in Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, over the latter’s comment on anti-open grazing law.
El-Rufai had described the anti-open grazing laws being signed by some of the southern governors as unrealistic.

But Akeredolu, in a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Donald Ojogo, said such a statement should not have come from a leader.

In the statement titled, ‘Anti-open grazing: El-Rufai’s attack on southern governors devious, a hysteric ploy to externalise banditry’, Akeredolu reiterated that the anti-open grazing law, especially in Ondo State, had come to stay, saying, “It shall be zealously guarded and conscionably deployed to protect all residents of Ondo State, notwithstanding their ethnic and religious biases.”

The statement read, “From all indications, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, if he was properly quoted and his views not misrepresented, is struggling hard to export banditry to the South under an expressed opinion that is laced with mischief.

“Perhaps, it is apt to state clearly that the likes of Governor El-Rufai are already in a hysteric ‘mode’ of escalating and indeed, externalising banditry, especially as the military onslaught against criminal elements and other terror variants suffices in the North.

“For emphasis, any such comment like that of the Kaduna Governor, if indeed he made that statement, merely seeks to encourage anarchy under the guise of resentment of a law by affected stakeholders.”

May the monster created by anyone devour him.
I have begin to believe what Late Obadiah Mailafiya said, a northern governor is a boko haram commander.
Now, a governor is supporting what Late Mailafiya said with facts.
If this is true, what are his reasons for sponsoring such?

It's common knowledge that the North is adding nothing to Nigeria other than terrorism, hatred , and mass murder. All their leaders are useless and terrorists .

We are always afraid to say the truth which is the only thing that can help up us. Whenever we see somebody who wants to attempt to say the truth, it becomes a big deal.
The fact is that 90% of the natural resources from the south is clandestinely being used to fund the activities of boko haram, ISWAP and the so called bandits to sustain northern muslim's age long tradion of trying to eliminate christians and pagans from the north.
Akeredolu just spoke the surface of the truth, just watch the powers that be try to bring him down

That's why federal government is drawing back on naming the sponsors. El Rufai is certainly one of them.

Thank God for Aketi. The south will not take it easy with any plans to massively deploy terrorists to the zone under any guise.

I have said this before and I’ll say it again:

The South has never been this bold. We should expect some seismic events in Nigeria’s political landscape not just this decade, but perhaps in a few years. Something big is going to happen. Either civil war or restructuring is coming.

Be prepared.

Anti-grazing laws are good for us. Southerners are not complaining. Anyone who is uncomfortable with the law should leave, simple.

Lagos elite or Governor are speaking with actions. VAT law was passed and signed by the governor within a week. This is seen as ant-North. After this, Sultan of Sokoto refused to shake hands with the Governor in public. Yoruba elite shuns sentiment or unreasonably following other tribes. Irrespective of political leanings, all western governors are one. In fact, Yorubas view Pdp and APC as one party. This same goes for religion. Both Islam and Christianity are seen as foreign.

Ladies and gentlemen, if we may recalled, Gov. El-Rufai statement on the subject was recouncilatory in nature. He alluded to that fact that, even the northern Gov had called for the ban of opening grazing long before now. As such we need not overheat the politics but rather let our comes together irrespective of diversity to evolve an enduring strategy to curb and eliminate the existential treat pose by herders in the guise of opening grazing.
