Bros u are just destroying d normal Flora in ur gastrointestinal tract .
That's why ure still having diarrhoea despite taking a cocktail of antibiotics.
U may be having pseudomembranous colitis due to abuse of antibiotics.
Now the treatment is :
-1 go to a big well established pharmacy

-2.Buy vancomycin and take 1 tab 4 times daily for 10 days to kill d bacteria ( clostridium difficult has most likely taken over ur gut.

-3.ask for a good gut probiotic and take it as prescribed on the leaflet to grow back ur normal bacterial flora.

Please sir am suffering from same issues but my questions is am I going to take the probiotic after taking the vancomycin tablet(after 10days) or am going to take it along with the vancomycin .......
I went to the hospital and they only gave me probiotic (bioflor ) and have been taking it for 2 weeks now , though it stopped but immediately I stop taking the bioflor the dirrohea Start again ...am just confused and helpless .so am thinking to buy the vancomycin maybe it’s gonna help

Ok sir . Couldn’t see the vancomycin tablet in all the pharmacy I went to . Alternatively they said they have lincomycin hydrochloride (500 mg)Looked for it everywhere couldn’t find it . The only thing they have is the vancomycin injection. Can I get the injection sir and how will I go about it ?

I've been searching for this drug around. Please how much did you get it?

Experiencing the same thing for over 3, months now. Mine stopped a bit in a sense that my poo was getting strong but not very hard and it wasn't loose like very watery. Just yesterday morning I had only fried eggs and bread and not long after eating I felt the urge to use the toilet, my stomach started making noise and at night was poo was loosed and this morning my poo was watery. This is so frustrating, Nothing badder than diarrhea I swear. I know before it started I had abused alot of anti biotics. Will get the vancomycin today tablet today.

An avaricious doctor convinced us to undergo surgery because of financial gain of it. I nearly died as a result of surgical infection that follows. After six years the surgical wound is yet to heal completely. It was a horrible experience.
My dare devil doctor died six months after the operation making it difficult for me to see medical attention. Other doctor would ask me to go back to the person that operated me each time I visit them and my doctor is late already.

I've been having watery and frequent stool for over a month. I stool a minimum of three times a day and its always watery.

I have visited hospitals and done numerous tests but no improvement.

I have done Blood test, stool test, Covid-19 test and HIV test and all were negative.

I have used all sorts of antibiotics and anti-diarrheals as recommended by doctors and pharmacists; Azithromyin, Metronidazole, Ciprotab, lomotil, loperamide etc.

I am single but have a girlfriend. We have MouthAction and rarely use condom.

I remember that around the time this stooling started, I bought a rice at one Captain Cook eatery, the rice's taste was slightly changed. Also, I remember I bought a sandwich at another eatery (not on same day) that didn't taste too good.

Please help.

Yes, I took Bioflor. Apparently, some antibiotics that i used cleared the natural and useful microbes in my digestive tract hence the frequent stooling.

Once i stopped taking the antibiotics and started using bioflor and eating vegetables, fruits and natural yoghurt, everything came back to normal in a few days.

Good morning everyone. It's been long I posted on Nairaland. I'm doing it today because of my health. I was looking for solution for my health online until I remembered how Nairaland used to be helpful during the days of my Ucler which I'm grateful now.

However, I have stooling problem I have been battling. I go to toilets at least 3 times a day, this is 6 weeks now since I have been stooling and it all started from when I treated malaria and typhoid.

Ever since I finished of Malaria and typhoid treatment, I noticed this unsual toilet and I was thinking it was going to stop in the beginning. I had to get some drugs myself, the one I'm used to anytime I noticed I have unusual toilet visit, I used the medicine for 3 days and it didn't stop. So I took myself to a big pharmacy, I complained to them and showed them the medicine I used and they were surprised it didn't work. They gave me another one, I went home to use it and I didn't see any improvement at all and then I decided to stop and went to General hospital.

I had card with them and went to see the doctor, I narrated everything to him and how I have been eating swallow food just to make stooling stop, there was a day I bought bread, ate half of it without drinking water, I added garri and drink it and yet the stooling was as if I never even ate something strong. I complained to him and he prescribed me some medicine to go and use. I went to outside pharmacy to get them and after 5 days the medicine was left for 2 days and no improvement and I was frustrated.

I went back to the hospital and I complained, I felt like crying. The doctor I met directed me to go and do stool test, I went to their lab made payment and I was told to wait for 3 day for my result. I went back to lab to get my result and show it to the doctor and the result shows I don't have anything, no bacterial, no parasite, nothing was found on my stool and I became even frustrated.

The doctor asked me if I have done injection before and I said No, he then wrote me some injection and medicine, he said I'm to be injected on my hand for 3 days and then I can continue with the medicine after. I was directed to the nurse, they gave me the injection for 3 days but yet there wasn't any signs of improvement. I was angry and went home to focus on the rest of the medicine and see what is going to happen but my mind wouldn't let me as I go to toilet 3 times a day on average and is watery, there was a day I stool 7 times in 24 hours.


I stood up one night and visited the pharmacy I went to earlier and explained everything to the owner of the pharmacy and he was surprised as well. He collected my blood sample and did some test and he said I don't have dihorea or any complications, he said that my intestine flora has been washed away due to abuse of Anti biotics, that my small intestine isn't doing it's job properly.

He said I needed to stop taking all anti biotics completely. He gave me a Probiotic and Bioflor to be using that it's going to restore my system back to normal. But I have not seen improvement my people, I'm frustrated, I don't have headache, I don't feel anything, I don't feel stomach pain, just watering stool is my problem.

What should I do please.
