, . Some Captains de even fear to talk to some Warrant Officers, especially if he's an appointment holder like Unit RSM or even chief clerk.

You can tell me a second or first Lieutenant. Definitely not a Major and definitely not a Captain. Talkless of a Captain in the Navy

, you can become an officer without a degree if you're enlisted and selected for branch commission/ quartermaster, but it's very rare and not frequently done, I've seen instances where the RSM ( regimental Sergeant Major) of NDA a master warrant officer (MWO) was commissioned a Captain and retired after a few years, and yes he wasn't a degree holder.

Maybe didn’t join with a degree but definitely or probably attained higher education while in service.

You're wrong it's captain before major

Thanks for the correction. My experience has mostly been with with Navy. Captain is a way higher rank there. I can now understand why the rank is not given the right “respect”

Guy u no know wetin u de yarn abeg, a blinking Lt order a Warrant officer to swim in mud! May be it can happen to a Private or L/CPL but never a Warrant officer, to attain the rank of WO u must have put in not less than 20 years in service, na I'm one blinking Lt, that just passed out from NDA or Colito wey just hang Lt go kon the throw smoke for a WO! At worst he can order him to report at the Mess, remove belt and shoes, then just de high inside de mess. Some Captains de even fear to talk to some Warrant Officers, especially if he's an appointment holder like Unit RSM or even chief clerk. In most instances, the WO even trained the Lt while at the academy as a blinking cadet, so that fear still de. A Warrant officer is like a general among the Non commissioned officers and wields a reasonable amount of respect and influence, so as an officer before u fit get liver talk down on him u need check urself well.

You mean a Lt fears a warrant offr right. He must be a badly trained horse that needs to be retrained!
Respect is just a courtesy and a very good sign of home training.
Back to the thread, the officer has acted very badly and unprofessional, a corper doesn't even have the eyes to see her if she had carried herself well. She fumbled big time. And to the corper, once they're staying inside the barracks and one senior offr has toasted them like this, their level of assumption is always very high.

The entire setup of the Nigerian Military is rotten and decayed.

It can't be that hard to implement rules that dishonourably discharge anyone that touches civilians.

It really can't be that hard.

You want to engage a female solider in hand combat? undecided

Don't try it.

Don't even think of telling your brothers to engage her.
She is still a female and any average male will beat her up. Wearing a camo or their so called training doesn't automatically turn them to a superman or superwoman, only advantage she might have is the back up of her male colleagues.

a Captain in the Navy is Col equivalent na, dem no born the WO to "assume" where a col is concerned. But in the Army "your appointment is more than your rank" after all, was it not in the Same Army, Maj Mustapha,( CSO to Abacha) been de clear generals doubt? He bleeped most of them up.

Go and learn more about military hierarchy lieutenant is a commissioned officer and not just a recruit so they command respect
So what? Don't run your mouth about things you know little about.

Even though lieutenant is a commissioned officer, does it mean she should demean a Corp member in that regard?

If you knew about military hierarchy, you'd know that Corp members have the same right as the lietemenat to sit and enjoy the comfort of Officers Mess. The respect given to the lietemenat will be the same respect given to the Corp member.

Mind you, the Corp member is a graduate, and by so is eligible for Direct Short Service to become a commissioned officer herself.

Soldiers weren't trained for civilian activities, using them constantly for civilian opreations is just wrong... She's a combatant, trained to kill and torture, her temperament is not meant for slayqueen civilian corper

The Female lieutenant was also dehumanised and beaten from day one she joined the service

To forestall future occurrence similar to this, Military should henceforth not be deployed to civilian training camp like NYSC, Military should not be used during protest, rally, or riots, they should not be paid escort for VIP and Politicians

.
You and 122 people that liked this post are very stupid, heartless and inhumane. From your stupid post i can deduced that you are trying so heart to put out the blame from the soldier... If your post is to clear the soldier from her wrong doing, then the same will be meted to your loved ones. You have been posting this to any thread that has to do with this. Evil shall know no peace!

To her GOD has given her Dominion over children including you.
So She feels s overwhelming power over you.
That is why women maltreat and torture kids or anyone below them.

Same reason Islam will NEVER give women power.
Once she gets a taste of power, she will automatically see you and treat as a Child.
Men that give women too much power in relationship get insulted and beaten up by their wives.

Sir,

Please be informed that this incident happened about 2 months ago, as stated in Calabar, to which the attention of the GOC 82 Div was drawn. Accordingly, he interrogated the matter through the Bde in Calabr and after thorough investigation, the concerned Offr was found culpable for her action and appropriately sanctioned. The affected Corps member was also aware of the sanction meted on the offr and she was satisfied with the justice served.

Surprisingly, mischievous individuals, with intent not known to the Bde in particular and the NA in general posted the old clip to SAHARA REPORTERS, who reposted it on social media.

As members of the NA, we all know how sensational media view anything that has military colouration. They under report successes and efforts of the military against various forms of criminality in Nigeria, especially our counter terrorism and counter insurgency war as as well as actions taken against bandits. Instead, they take pride in glorifying criminals against the efforts of our gallant troops.

So, we should be circumspect of the antics of social media influencers and other unfriendly online communities.

Thank you all and God bless.

For me, if there is no injury, threat to life or repeat occurrence, the female corper should just swallow her ego, suck it up and move on.

That's one of the experiences during NYSC undecided

Ten years later while gisting with your friends or recounting the tales of your NYSC:

'I remember when that idiot pour dirty water for my body. I stand up like G, dust myself enter room' bla bla bla.

Maybe it is the boarder in me (boarding student in secondary school) that doesn't see the need to nitpick and whine about every incident. undecided

Abegi. Go sit down somewhere. I guess you're fvckin a military officer or you're one. Cos j can't understand ur level of justification for this barbaric act of a female on another female, just because one is a senior military officer. Rubbish. I pray such hppn to you someday and ppl also justify such treatment which would be melted out to you
