Lithuania Work Permit, Anybody Done This Before? by Hightser(op): 9:15pm On Sep 23, 2021
Hello,

I got an agent to process a Lithuania work permit for my brother, we finalized on the pay but for a week now I haven’t been able to send payment to him as all channels within my reach have been exhausted.

The agent is Ukrainian, I tried using debit card, UBA it was declined, I visited a UBA branch and they told me CBN has stopped the use of naira card to make foreign payment.

This is strange as initially I would just put my card details and the conversion is done automatically to the receiving currency.

I tried using flutter barter card, it was declined too, kuda card declined, I also asked the bank to make a direct transfer with the company’s account number they said no way to send money.

The only option is to get a dollar rechargeable card but I can’t do that now as the period of the payment is almost elapsed.

Please if anyone has gone through this process before the person should enlighten me.

Merci.

Are you sending Euro or Dollars? Besides, did you create dollar Barter card or used to the regular card?

I created a dollar barter card, I’m actually sending 400 euros and the company created a payment link through wayforpaydotcom.

Simply open a domiciliary account in your preferred currency, fund it and transfer to the company's account in Ukraine.
You can do this in some commercial bank.Try Gtb or first bank.

Open a domiciliary account and go to the street to buy dollar 570 from aboki and fund it, so I will have to buy 500$ from the street to fund a domiciliary account before sending money to someone, it’s tedious
