In sane countries, there are special classes for prodigies and gifted children. These children are even given the room to flow at their own pace as long as they can handle it, even if they will be many years ahead of their peers.

Here, they don't want brilliant SS1 and SS2 students to write ordinary waec, instead they want them to unnecessarily waste time. In this country of all places. I SMH for this country. Why not overhaul and reform the syllabi of secondary schools instead?

This is not suppose to be an issue, a very brilliant person that is suppose to be productive somewhere else will sit in class all in the name of due process, naaa.
This is rubbish, if you are brilliant write your WAEC even in SSS1 and move on, or is the exam not base on intelligent again. This people just want us to be stuck in school forever and yet most of them only did primary 6 before joining the government work.

Ur blind guy.

They can test their preparedness in the confines of their house. Their schools can hold mock WAEC for their third semester exams. FG should not be paying for these exams. It is an unnecessary cost.

Do people not buy degrees in this country? I no know why Una no like to talk truth.

If the fg put policies in place to tackle this nonsense, then the practice would die out. How exactly do you expect people to put in hardwork to study when outsiders can simply pay money and get all what they've been cracking their heads to get for 4 to 6 years.

A lot more average students write external WAEC than prodigies.

I understand your frustrations and lack of formal education. The only help we need from you is not to train your children for all u mentioned above so that d number of the educated ones we reduce drastically and the future will be brighter for the few educated children of ours who know the real importance of it. Otherwise, you're a hypocrite

I tried the WAEC private when I was in SS2, I passed mostly but not with the best grades, it gave me confidence and what to expect.

I took the normal WAEC in SS3 and the result was much more better.
