Ar-Rum 30:54 It is Allah Who created you in a state of weakness, then developed ˹your˺ weakness into strength, then developed ˹your˺ strength into weakness and old age. He creates whatever He wills. For He is the All-Knowing, Most Capable. I am a Plant Biologist. I genetically modify plants to increase crop yields, enhance nutrient composition, enhance the production of pharmaceuticals like terpenoids etc. This verse reminds me that Allah can do much more to humans at any time he wants. Whoever is guided is only guided for the benefit of his soul. And whoever errs only errs against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And never would We punish until We sent a messenger. And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with complete destruction. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: مَا كَانَ إِبْرٰهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ "Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. My favourite ayah: (Quran 33:53) Believers, enter not the houses of the Prophet without his permission, nor wait for a meal to be prepared; instead enter when you are invited to eat, and when you have had the meal, disperse. Do not linger in idle talk. That is hurtful to the Prophet but he does not express it out of shyness; but Allah is not ashamed of speaking out the Truth. And if you were to ask the wives of the Prophet for something, ask from behind a curtain. That is more apt for the cleanness of your hearts and theirs.98 It is not lawful for you to cause hurt to Allah's Messenger, nor to ever marry his wives after him. This ! Quran 9:123 "O you who believe, fight those disbelievers who are near you, and let them find severity in you. Know well that Allah is with the God-fearing."[ Surah 2:191: “And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them ... kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (non-Muslims).” |
