I'm not sure but I suspect it has to do with their lifestyle. When there is fame & money, your life is on the fast lane except you know how to discipline yourself when exposed to certain situations. You have easy access to hard drugs, booze, women etc.. , and some don't know when to calm down when they start.

Going by some people's comments that most of these guys were high on drug and lived as if they had nine lives, this made me to remember one of Anothiny Robbin's sayings that,Our decision in life is informed by pleasure or pain ,that is,for instance,if you see drug as more pleasurable than the pain of its dangers you're bound to be addicted to it but you if you see pain of its dangers more than its pleasure it becomes easier to give it up.

No. I'm no forensic expert. But from my personal experience with a few Music artistes I've known, I can only suspect it has to be their lifestyle. And this is my personal opinion, it can be something else though.
