One of my clients in the United States once told me that in his country, trust is not an issue. It comes by default..that's why our Yahoo boys are taking advantage of them.

Besides, I believe the CBN will have a department that audits the units of e-Naira from the foreign firm. I know that Emefiele doesn't have sense, but let's give him the benefit of doubt. If e-Naira fails after implementation, I am sure the next CBN governor will discontinue with it.

That's when people might have lost million of naira in the process because of CBN gvr incompetent.

I was going to ask this! e-Naira is just a scam to fleece the CBN. EFCC should quickly investigate this heist. There's zilch difference between the so-called e-Naira and e-payment/receipt. These guys take us for fools.

One is a crypto-currency, and an e-wallet...signed by a country. It is running blockchain.

It is safer, going to be faster...and without those big surcharges. Ever thought about dollar to Naira black markets too?

I am a freelancer and I feel it is nice.

Their is a wide gap between the two. enaira will help those freelancers earning in dollar to be able to change their money without the black market. It'll benefits lots of things in the country.

Even as a critic of this present government, this is a good development.

The only problems I see is the govt issuing out electronic money at will and implementing repressive tax regimes directly on wallets as is seen even with traditional banking.

If done right and without corrupt input and favouritism, the enaira has a huge part to play in fighting corruption and boosting the economy.

You know the government will be very corrupt with their implementation.

We are living in one of the most corrupt administrations since 1999.
