"Ọsinbande" is a better option than anyone who's expressed interest so far (better than Tinubu and his partner in crime, Atiku).

OTOH, Fashọla is a better option if it's going to be a Southwesterner.

However, for our "fxckshit" unity and equity, the Southeast should produce the next president. I have no particularly credible person in mind. If only we can get someone of Dora Akunyili's profile from the Southeast.

P.S. There is too much power at the centre, there are too much "crapolas" in our constitution -- we need a new constitution, else, another president would be just "and another one" (pun intended).

Nigerians are so senseless that their ordeal is NOT about end in end the nearrst future.
ANYBODY THAT IS IN ANYWAY, CONNECTED TO THIS DISASTER THAT WE HAVE AS GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT BE MENTIONED FOR 2023 ELECTION. Be it from East, West , North or South or you will all die here in suffering. But Nigerians will never hear. Reason , they are already jinxed and are suffering for the sins they committed

Don’t mind my Yoruba brothers with their bare faced tribalism.
God forbid anybody associated with this disaster leads this country again.

You dey sleep when he ordered the sack of Daura due to the invasion National Assembly .What about his intervention and impact in Niger Delta millitant crisis when Buhari was AWOL?

Exactly my point. In those few instances where he was given the power to act, only a dumb person will overlook what he did. If Nigerians truly want to move ahead, it is better we let this guy handle the job.

Another ignorant fellow.

What are you expecting a VP to achieve?

Is it not even laudable that since independence, Osinbajo happens to be the only active and vocal VP Nigeria ever produced?

Even though I'd love PYO to be the next president, we're forgetting something... He can rule for only 4 years by law. And after that, power would return to the North.
Let APC give the ticket to the S.E and let the South enjoy their uninterrupted 8 year rule..

There's different between being in position of VP and President, as VP one must be loyal to his superior while its suggestion can be ignored by the President, a President is the number one decision maker as the VP is just like a ceremonial role of governor general during the parliamentary era of first republic while the prime minister was the one in-charge of power.

In presidential system of government, senate president and speaker are more stronger and influential than the position of Vice President.

Excuses upon Excuses.
Atiku while he was vp to obj was vocal and bold.
Ebele while vp to Musa was the brain and architect behind his 2020 vision.
While this Yemi is neither of the above yet he is serving in one of the most corrupt, nepostic and blood-letting administration in the history of this country.
And yet you are giving Excuses. And I bet you, you will still give Excuses.

Atiku and GEJ are not saint and productive? ok! It's natural that years after leaving office you become a saint.

If all the above that you have mentioned are truly what you want in a Nigerian president, then compare him with Peter Obi.
I feel we should still open our minds and wait for more people to come on board. Personal choice also matters no doubt.

Hello o, even if you are not well grounded in the affairs of your nation, at least nairaland has helped by sharing information that makes news papers content endeavour to read and asimilate the mode and method in which the vice President has been on a part that doesnt entirely conform with his principal which doesnt mean hes not loyal but because he has a conscience, but evil people too much for this county against one person that wants to change the general narrative of the defination of a word called a "NIGERIAN".

Imagine o. I have wicked uncle in my family who would like to have my family and I dead. Will I support him also because he is my uncle and from my tribe ? Is that one also my brother or tribe man ? I would rather vote and support a Ghanaian as a president in Nigeria. Let us have sense na. Equity iis justice but that wouldn’t make me support my tribe person who will end up wrecking my destiny or future of my children whereas all he is after is his own welfare and that of his immediate family. All these politicians had and have their children in schools in overseas. The only one that our would benefit from , is in shambles. Strikes here and there. They don’t even care. And one stupid senseless person will come here to play tribal card, even when you are not benefiting anything. The north have been in power most times but they are the most uneducated and impoverished. WHAT IS THIER GAIN !!!!! Millions of their young men are doing okada in Lagos and their women begging everywhere. Tomorrow, they will vote them back again , shouting sai baba and continue suffering. I am just tired of the crop of people in this country and their reasoning. Educated and uneducated are same .Spit !!!

True.
With the open grazing statewide bans and the recent VAT brouhaha, alarm bells are sounding all over the north and real prospects of losing their 'ownership' of Nigeria is staring them in the face.
They will do everything to hang onto power at the centre. It is practically their only hope of surviving the gale of structural changes this country needs to go through.

We dont need any fulani stooge that will be looking the other way while his people are been killed and come out after the killing and start speaking like a motivational speaker.NO Nigeria deserve a better leader not one that will be going from one market to another shearing 10k.and call it economic policy,if as a vice president and a profesor and all the democratic institutions broke down, and nepotism become the new normal, insecurity take a dangerous dimension, inflation rate go higher, hunger and starvation are killing nigerians yet no word from a profesor of law,who only came out and say nigeria must be one, such a fellow is not fit to rule nigeria,a proffesor who run errand for an illitrate, and make promises he know wont be fulfiled is just an educated idiot.

since I came to Lagos, those who made me what I am today are majorly Yorubas and from other places like Benue. They stood by me in rain and sun, up till yesterday o . Yes most of the problems I have had was from same people but I have real brothers from Yoruba . Let our senses work. Let us balance leadership in this country because Nigeria is for all of us. I was listening to a well read and reasonable lawyer ,an activist from Yoruba on the radio. A man without fear. He said it without fear that if we want to get it right in this country, we should first start by giving the presidency to an igboman. That deep in our hearts that we all know that it is the turn of the Easterner to take up the position. But if we continue the routes we are going today, we will go no where. We have seen what West brought to table , that is education . We are seeing and feeling what the north have on the table . Let us try and feel what the Easterner have which is commerce and industry driven economy .But would tribalism , hatred and ethnicity allow us do the right thing ? No ! Let us keep going round and backwards. The politicians love it and will keep benefiting from our tribalism

Someone from your tribe gets elected what specifically is your gain except Bragging rights, if you are not related to them or a party member nothing (even some party members only collect before election).. After the election we'll live with the errors of our choices.
With the mindset majority of us have now, lol na Incompetence Pro max go enter in 2023.

Stop saying what you don't know. Does this buhari look like someone who takes advice?

Didn't you see the two major decisions taken by osibanjo when he was acting president?
The sacking of the then DSS Boss Dahura for laying siege on the national assembly and sending the name of onoghen to Senate for confirmation after several months of buhari's refusal. What does that tell you? Those decisions rattled the northern cabal then. Since then buhari has not handed power to him whenever he's traveling.
