One of the challenges facing many people today is balancing career and family. Many people find it easy to defend the long hours and the endless attention they give their jobs. “After all, without the job, the family suffers financially,” they claim.

It is a fact that in order to ensure that a family is taken care of, you need to spend the time necessary to keep your business or career moving forward. But as much as this makes sense; it has led to the breakup of many relationships and families.

You have probably heard stories of women packing their bags and leaving their husbands saying they didn’t ‘marry the house.’

If your career is contending with your time for family, what would you choose?

Folks will learn one or two things.

We can actually live well and fine if we plan well with whatever we earn accordingly, the problem why people want to spend all their life and time on their work neglecting the family sometimes is because they want to show the next person what they have. There's time for work there's also time for the family, but the family should be placed above all.

Me and my wife should have a family business, i like it when my family is involved in building our business.

Family any day anytime, fhey will always be there in sickness and health, love and care all through.

Your office is only intrested in your input and once your input is itrelevant you become useless and can be layed off.
Lost a colleague at work years ago and he was replaced within 2days, but his family will mourn forever, they lost someone, the office replaced someone. then i realized my value in both.

I left my best paying job I ever have for my Family and today I'm still living fine

Am battling with this right now but am certainly choosing career over family. Leaving them will be hard but my future is more important than the pleasure of staying with them

if you lean more toward career ensure to have a partner that lean more toward family and vice versa

So I'll choose my family over my career anytime any day..

I will.not leave any one for the other. I just need to balance it

You are right. Most rich people spend lot of time with their family because they have competent people running their affairs
