I need the passport now and I am not receiving any update about Abeokuta capture center wether they have booklet or not. Why does it take that long at Abeokuta center.

Am in the same shoe here, captured 2nd week in August, my contact said no booklet last week i called. This week he is no longer picking my call. please if you get an update on the center let me know.

Please, I paid online for my passport, didn't get any notification or what to do next. Tried checking application status and I'm seeing no application. What can I do?

Hello. You can go on the nis immigration page. You should find an email and contact number for enquiries / complaints. You can call or send an e-mail.

Sometimes there is a live chat option, where you can live chat and lay your complaints.

You can also message them on face book.

As per what to do next after paying, print out the receipt, acknowledgement slip and form along with the required documents and head to the passport office of choice for submission.
You don't necessarily need an appointment date to submit.

The only receipt I got was from Saanapay. I didn't see the acknowledgement slip(what do I do?)

After paying, the webpage went so fast, couldn't get anything. I think I was redirected to guarantor's form

And does this receipt expiry date have any effect?

I didn't pay immediately after registration. I got to the payment part like last month and couldn't attend to it till today

Saw some people leaving with passports so i assume there is. Better go there and ask to be sure.

Festac is the Best ....... DIY route paid only the amount online not a penny extra. Submitted on Tuesday and Captured today. Orderly process.

Friendly Officers and mannered too.

I just spoke to my connect at Alausa Lagos office about switching from 32 pages to 5years 64 pages, he said it possible but i will pay 45k and get it in a week.

Were you able to get the application ID and reference number? If yes search for NIS portal status query. You should find a page/ section that allows you use your application ID and Ref number to retrieve the application form and receipt etc.

Alternatively check your e-mail inbox (and spam) for an e-mail from nis which should have the application if and reference number for you.

If these options don't work, then send them an e-mail or call or message on FB.

Yeah, I've done this. Was directed to make payment again, lol.

I've sent a mail and they responded that it'll take 3 to 5 business day.

You should be able to retrieve the application as long as you have paid.

And it expires after a year I think, so you have to get the passport in that time frame.

Goodday, please can you provide a step by step process? I want to begin the process of name change. Did you do the NIN change in Abuja as well? What of the affidavit process?

Honestly, this is unbelievable.
I was on this forum weeks ago asking about how to go about the change of name (as a man) and no concrete response was given (I understand that people may not have the answer to all questions). But I took a step of faith. Please read on
I booked a flight to Abuja and I got to the NIS HQ with knowing no one. I sat at the Data processing center studying the events while suddenly, I approach an officer ,he listened to me and directed to another officer and that one directed to another .
I was patient and finally met another officer who God used to help me.
Long story short .
My application for change of name was approved that same day
I captured that same day
I was given a slip that shows when my passport will be ready .
God showed me Mercy ( I can't explain)
The officer was carrying my file about as if I paid a huge money.
Please friends ask questions and do fact findings but above all don't place a man in the place of God.(I captured before the so called 'long leg' did there's)
I am not a pastor not a religious person.
But this one I know that God showed me Mercy in NIS HQ Abuja
Summary
Change of name plus charges .....30,900
My passport fee plus charges.........25,500
This excluded my return ticket flight (same day flight) and I gave that sweet officer a thank you token.
That's all I paid . My people , I landed MM2 10:38pm thereabout that same day I left .
Please try and help people always not for your gain. God be with u all.

I captured 30th of June, heard the production stopped when they started producing June batches.

If you say urgently, it is definitely an agent.

If you don't need it for like the next 2 months, do DIY.
