TheSuperNerd:
I should grow up? No man, you should grow up. Come wear my shoes and tell me about growing up.

You know what it's like to see your well researched work or takes get quoted with stupid takes borne out of jealousy and bad belle?

You should also grow up outta the shadows and come take my place as one of the key analysts bringing news and well researched information about our players from time to time and taking the time and patience to analyse their potentials, their strengths, their weaknesses, covering their performances and trying to bring them to the rest of the Nigerian and if possibly, world audience.

I don't tolerate stupid especially when it comes in response to analytical work that took time to compile and forge a genuine opinion on.

It's so easy for some folks to pick up their phones or gadgets and type nonsense here from time to time. So easy. All without due research or informed analysis.

So Listen, for me, stupid is not allowed in here. Let's keep the stupid out of the thread.

This thread is no a place to drop or experiment stupid tots or takes. It's grown into a hub for intellectual discourses and sound takes based on well researched info from different perspectives. Thank you.

And one more thing, it's the Super Eagles thread and it's for us all who discuss everything Nigerian football and Super Eagles. But none of you pay us, the major contributors, to do the brilliant work we do in here. We do it for passion. If it was that easy, you would grow up and take my place. Gracias.
As expected.

Sorry o, which of your intellectual work was treated with stupidity?.

Man, I still maintain you should learn some maturity.

You talk as if you are the owner of the thread. You even classified your efforts as "brilliant work" (Mind you, your work is actually brilliant) but biko, allow us (the minor contributors grin grin grin,) do the commendation.

Finally, take this from the good book, Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished. Ecclesiastes 4:13

You this CRIMINAL paid associate. Just because one has his own ideology on certain topics doesn’t make it stupid. I understand that you’re a paid associate from certain players but some of us are still TRUTHFUL. We aren’t moved by our pockets rather by our Integrity. A word is enough for the wise
It's easy for all to see what a huge f**l you are but do us a favor....

Please list the players who pay money into my accounts to speak for them in here... I am waiting. grin

List them with good enough evidence.

And let me give you a hint. Every player I have spoken for must have me on their payroll, so that should narrow the search for you. Go right ahead and show us the list... grin

If you cannot do that, and you persist with calling me a Criminal and paid associate.... then you are less than a f**l. Deal? grin

You were on record here salivating that osimehn sent you praises and handed you a Jersey. What else did he handed you, an urgent 5k? My friend, I know your type and I have seen them in the past I.e Abba kyari. In the soccer analysts world, your integrity is already at Doubt regarding that player discussion. Also, your insult simply because one said that “A player has to be world class consistently for few seasons before becoming the undisputed king in Africa” solidified all I needed to know. It’s only in Nigeria that Criminals will boldly convey a message that cast doubt at their duty.

Abba kyari a police chief was on duty saying that all he did was sow cloth for a known Criminal (Hushpuppy) and he proudly conveyed that message

You are just one out of so many readers in here and I must confess, I don't even know your moniker among the silent readers. I know and recall a lot of them so your claim to being a minor contributor is rubbish. Yep. That simple.

And I know you obviously are one of those who just cannot stand the popularity of my moniker in here. I get it alright. Not everyone gets to like the popular dude.
But Look, it is the way it is okay. I do what I do and people know my moniker.... it's not me... it's my work speaking for me. And yes they are brilliant. Highly brilliant infact. I don't have to wait for you to commend before I know it is. I get it a lot from folks in here and from folks outside NL who happen to know who I am on NL.
I have had sports journalists commend my work and wonder at how I am a medical professional yet still deeply rooted in the beautiful game. I am who I am... And I will never fit whatever box you want me to fit for you to rate me. I am me and that's how Osimhen found me and reached out to me.... that's how A close associate of Gernot rohr found me and reached out to me. That's how I began getting some of the attention I get but I still do my best to keep a low profile.

So yes... I am that super annoying and highly confident dude who believes so much in himself. Deal with it.

And by brilliant work, I wasn't only referring to myself. I said "we" and I am sure common sense will inform you that others BascoVanVeli, Ppogbae and TheLoneCitizen contribute fine works as well. And I have never been found wanting when it comes to acknowledging their works.

So keep your ecclesiastical reference to yourself. I know your type. The type who secretly has an issue with me but is hiding under some other circumstance just to get at me.
You know my moniker in here... you cannot deny it. But me, I don't know who you are and I don't wanna know.

In all, Keep your pretentious opinion to yourself. Thank you.

Only the old guards of this thread will laugh at these rubbish you type from page to page.

And why are you so interested in knowing what else he gave me? Do you want something else to be there even when it isn't? Or you are just a natural amebo looking for gossip?? Hahahahahaha....

Don’t mind the Crook. All I said was that “A player must perform world class consistency for few seasons to be the undisputed king” and he took it personal. You advised him by using bible verse and his response was that “you’re jealous of him” the same you that previously praised the man in the past is now jealous of him. This seems like jealousy na. What does a jersey have to do with anything? This is why people don't share good things because someone always wants to use the information to attack. U and TheSuperNerd should just agree to disagree before this gets any uglier. There is nothing wrong in that

I remember you praising the man in the past on here so it’s kind of surprising how he described his fan simply because he disagreed with one of your comments. This is exactly how he treats osimehn issue. You can compliment osimehn 99 times and all is well but as soon as you criticize him once, the man will take you as an enemy. The moment a referee, analyst etc start receiving allurement from players is the moment that their integrity Becomes in Doubt

You really have to stop calling me that. Criminal paid associate. Hahahahahahaha.... Look man, it sounds funny now but when it comes to haunt you, blame no one but yourself. wink

My passion and ways of supporting our Naija players is what got me Osimhen's attention. At least, that is what I think because till today, I still don't know how he got to know me. And I haven't bothered asking. Maybe because we haven't met yet in the flesh.

Anyway, My Lobotomy procedure is free and painless to help remove the side of your brain concocting these highly "over the bar" takes.

Personally, there isn’t anything wrong in receiving jersey from players. But, the moment a football analyst, Referees start salivating about receiving Jerseys, messages from players, Coaches, his integrity on that player becomes in doubt because there’s emotion attached to it. Shikena. For example, Abba kyari (A police chief) was on record boldly conveying a message that he only sowed cloth for a Famous Criminal “Hushpuppi” Normally, there shouldn’t be any issue with tailoring clothes for anyone. But, as a police chief, you cannot be boldly saying that you sowed cloth for a Criminal and expect us to not question your integrity

Following his impressive performance in the ongoing 2021/2022 league season, Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen have been named Serie A player of the month.

BSNsports.com.ng can report.

Some of you people always sit on the fence when the truth stares you in the face.

All his calls of Criminal, paid associate and other nonsense isn't seen by you right? You won't address that? You would chastise me for doing all I can to deflect the concocted nonsense of that rant Lord? Do you realise that not everyone here is pleased to see me receive that Jersey?

There is bound to be heavy jealousy. It is human nature. And not seeing that this is all just jealous reactions is in denial of what the heart of man is capable of.

This is exactly why I didn't really want Edi287 (Sorry man, not like you did something wrong but I had my reasons for wanting to keep mute about it) sharing the mention Osimhen gave me on Social media. I understand he did it because he was genuinely pleased for me but I didn't share it myself because it was my wish to always keep my growing relationship with Osimhen private. I knew that someday, some would say, I speak good of Victor Osimhen only because he knows me.

I saw this coming someday. I knew some unfortunate fellow will blab and begin concocting all such of nonsense to soil my credibility and make rubbish of my relationship with Osimhen.

It was because of Edi287's action that day and seeing how everyone took it in that I thought, okay, it won't hurt to share this good gesture by Osimhen to me. It happened immediately after his UEL heroics in England. I had celebrated as usual in this thread and he contacted me through a friend/associate of his the next day to inform me that he was sending me a Jersey through him and that was it.

I had seen the Osimhen mention of my tag on his twitter handle that day Edi287 shared it here and believe me, I was stunned Osimhen did that. I wasn't expecting that. He didn't tell me a word. And I clearly didn't want to share it on NL.

Some would have easily made it a Front page topic. But my goal was to be as private as possible.

Infact, only two monikers on this thread knew about my relationship with Osimhen before that day Osimhen tagged me. They have my WhatsApp and they knew and kept it private. I respect them for that till this day.
I mean, fine we began talking during Christmas on twitter in 2019 and you needed to see my surprise when I discovered he gave me a follow on Christmas eve that festive period. He was still a Lille player.

All I do with him is exactly what I do here. I encourage him. I advise him. I spur him up. I share tots with him. I check on him. And it's not even like he needs that all the time but i just felt he needed as much doses of it because there is real crazy talent in the boy.

I am so keen seeing that lad rise to the very top of the beautiful game because I remember all he went through and all the abuses he suffered on this thread and across social media before his first professional senior club goal for Charleroi came.

I remember I was offline for days but I came online that day just to celebrate his first goal and said it was the beginning of greater things to come. I could find that post made years back if I bring out some time.... now at this time, Osimhen and I weren't even in contact.

Everything I have done on our NT threads have been fueled by passion, passion that most don't understand and still wonder at. Most cannot explain how I keep tabs on every player and cannot think out how I bring out the time to document their exploits despite my own schedule of engagements.

I must not explain everything. I don't owe anyone here that. I am not getting paid to come here and discuss Nigerian football. My passion brings me here and I have been here since 2015.

I met Joseph1013 here (he was the true inspiration). Then I also admired TheGoodJoe, Safarigirl and really had an interesting tensed kickoff with Icon4s who I call Dad now. Not forgetting BascoVanVeli. These monikers are as old as time itself with respect to the various NT threads that has been opened and closed before we all landed on this one... our longest thread ever.

I am like a one-man army when it comes to information finding and searching. It's easy for me coz I know how to utilise the best of what hi-tech gives us.

So all these talk of bribes, paid association, and whatever jargons being cooked up can only stem from one human emotion being expressed yet denied....

The Emotion of Jealousy. Nothing more.

So Uncle Kog... let's say it as it is. He is jealous of me. Period! grin

Oga Basco pls settle this matter....getting a jersey from a player not a big deal honestly.

I have jerseys handed over to me personally by some players so not a big deal and I don't expect someone should attack anyone on that.

Some of us here even have personal relationships with some players but that doesn't stop us from not talking football as it is.

I think TheSuperNerd and Large deserve cane if I have my way.First Doctor TheSuoerNerdy is an honorable member of this forum and time for him to always move on from heated argument and to Large I have seen people calling him to order here several times and to be candid recently have seen changes in his approach to issues not until now with this mere football opinions with TheSuperNerd.
I definitely don't see anything wrong. It was a nice gesture and that's that.

U wouldn't expect a guy u give your jersey to to spread lies about u or be completely disrespectful but at the same time u won't expect him to call u Mr Universe.

At the end of the day u are right. We all have to learn how to either walk away or never become abusive.
