rhektor:Do not bring such incoherent with Dictionary's diacritics . Even online dictonary does not agree with your false ọ̀rọ̀ rather with mid tone on it ,and posit as ọrọ . Show us a dictionary to proof yourself as I had done.

Olu317:Why do you keep repeating the same thing all over again and again. Your dictionary that you just posted now has no diacritics, I repeat the one you posted before now also has no diacritics on all the words, how then do you want to claim that this dictionary is reliable for diacritics? It could be reliable for meaning of word but not for diacritics Stop repeating the same thing over like a broken record |

rhektor:What dictionary again? Lol. The one I use is my hardcopy mr man and not the softcopy . Beside, show your own hard copy and soft copy dictionary as I had done. And not some mumbojumbo self glorifying postulation from a quack Bibeli mimọ . |

rhektor:It's very obvious the guy doesn't have a full grasp of the Yoruba diacritics. Either that or he's someone who was born and grew up in Yoruba land but not native to Yoruba. I used to have a friend called Vincent from Delta state who was very fluent and can read and write Yoruba very well. In fact, he had A1 while I had B3 in Yoruba Language in WASSCE although he was no match when it comes to speaking, reading and writing of Yoruba language. |

kilisi:Lmaoo. No I am not a Yoruba man. Rather a Borgu personality ! . There is nothing Musa will not see at the gate. |

Olu317:You can not learn by holding on to what you had and never ready to look into other things. Give the basis for your hard copy dictionary diacritics. Your dictionary ignored other words which my biblical writeup did not ignore yet you hold on to your fraud just to save face. Olodo |

kilisi:Olu317 is delude, he has an idea in mind and that's why he always hold on to the fraud he presents. He has a way of writing words to suit his preconceived ill idea. Misrepresenting words is deliberate, not an error |

rhektor:Olu317, why have you not responded to these words in bold? |

rhektor:Explain what Aguda means in your dialect and translate it. |

I finally found out that the first catholic mission in Nigeria established in Lagos was established by missionaries from Lyon France implying that the missionaries were French men and they were the ones initially referred to as Aguda in the saying Aguda o je labe Geesi use Owo mi ni mo nje!. It therefore means The French are not being fed by nor are they serving under the British, I eat from my own labor. The Aguda in the saying appear to mean French since the first Catholic missionaries were French. |

There were two sets of Returnees Brazilian with Portuguese names Catholic names E.g. Pedro Da Silva Cardoso Marinho =Aguda Krio. =Saro or Sierra Leone Returnee with English names. e.g. Rhodes, Coker, Williams, Smithand Protestant backgrounds =Geesi=English Both were Returnee groups, Christian groups with exposure to European technologies In Colonia Lagos the Geesi were civil servants, lawyers etc Their secondary School CMS was first in Nigeria The Agudas were craftsmen and did blue collar work building many Portuguese style buildings in Lagos There was class war between them and the usual I get money pass you beef The Agudas arguably had more money even if they might not have been as educated as the Geesi One of them Da Rocha was acclaimed as the richest man in Lagos or Nigeria at the time So Aguda o je labe Geesi ise owo wa la n je is reported as an Aguda response to uppity Krios in Colonial Lagos |
