I once stayed in Osun state for about 8 months, I observed that they grow it in abundance there, some uncompleted houses that were abandoned even had cocoa trees, you can try Osun state. Someone also mentioned to me while we were discussing about cocoa business that it's also grown in Cross river state, perhaps you could try that place as well.
It's a good business and I'd really love to venture into it when I have enough money, I'd love to grow though.

I know a warehouse in Lagos always buying cocoa in tonnes. I know cocoa sellers in Osun and Ondo States too

If you are in south west, please go to iluomoba town in Ekiti state. The town is beside Ado, every family and Farmer plants cocoa, I was there last month for burial they were sun drying it in almost every compound there. I learnt this is the harvest time. Many people are coming from Akure and Ibadan to buy it there.
But the place that holds the largest Coco plantation in Nigeria is Idanre town in Idanre local government Ondo State..... We still have a program at Iluomoba in less than two weeks from now I will help you make enquiry and contact there. Call me 08025863159
