MusicTNG:Not just lately they have been doing great since the time of African queen: after that song the whole world recognized Nigeria music industry then our artists started upgrading to international standards Check out musical videos and our sounds engineers and music producers shouldn’t be left out too because they played a very big role in giving us good sounds video’s that meet with international standards. The only industry that function well in Nigeria is our music industry. 3 Likes |

MusicGNG: Wizkid and Burna Boy are more talented than Davido, but one thing you can't take away from Davido is the fact that his music is purely Nigerian, and original, not a copy of some other people. Burna and Wizkid's kind of music is really more like Jamaican dancehall...that's the only issue I have with what they do. I felt somehow when Sean Paul said this, cos it is actually true. 3 Likes |

Make una softly dey lie na. First of all Burna does not emphasize on his tribe. What matters to him is that he projects his Africaness. Secondly abeg which part of Burna is Yoruba? Hope not his proudly Edo Mother? Just so you know, both Burna and Davido have Edo mothers okay? However at the end of the day, they are our brothers and proudly putting Africa and Nigerian map on the world and not just one ethnic group SonofDevil: 2 Likes 1 Share |

gokay11: Exactly. Don't mind all those guys that always saying Davido is solely successful as a musician because of his dad's money. They have no idea what it entails to be a success at anything and stay successful for 10 years. No be beans. 6 Likes |

Innovate07: Burna boys father is Rivers Ijaw. Harrysong is from Delta Ijaw. Timaya and Timi Dakolo are both from Bayelsa Ijaw. Mr 2kay that Burna boy fought with, is also Rivers Ijaw like Burna Boy. Pere that took 3rd in this year BB Naija is Delta Ijaw. Nengi that took 3rd in last year BB Naija is Bayelsa Ijaw, and so many more. 3 Likes |

Sofistcatdmoron: His songs are meaningful and meant for activist movement, not for party or melody. Not really beat/studio effects that kids do nowadays where even a goat can come up with hit track since it's the good melody/beat that will cover the flaw. Then, Fela performed live a lot. Live songs don't sound good like studio. This is what most of these artists today can't do, they do lip syncing for live performance. Then Fela himself is a talented saxophonist, not just a singer. Which of Wizzy or Burna or Davido can play a musical instrument? Even the song they do, they don't know anything about music. Their output is just based on studio works. |

Donjazzy needs to be on that list. He's done alot for the industry. For those of you claiming Bose Ogulu (burna boy's mother) isnt yoruba, this is the tweet from the son, hear it from the mouth of the horse. Don't let anti-yoruba sentiment kill y'all. 5 Likes 1 Share

Bigchristo:LOL. The whole world indeed. You think the whole world is like Lagos. You can walk from New york to LA and only a few people would have heard of these people. If you have travelled at all, the same way you are hollering about these guys , thats how the Koreans are hollering about their own artists whom you uave never heard of. Same in China, middle east, Uk etc 1 Like 1 Share |
