Really? An inkling for the discerning. Atiku is another bad choice for President. Not another Fulani! The wise won’t touch him with a ten inch pole!

Really? Tell that to Arewa northern Nigerians.
Ethnoreligious bigotry is the word for Arewa north during their choice for president of Nigeria.

It matters in this coming cycle.

Some people cannot be entitled to everything in this country for a long time, and think all
Is well.

Some tribes are tired of being discriminated and disenfranchised; we have to be balanced and fair if all is to move to greater heights, if not, of what use is this journey.

I agree. We weren't this sensitive before Buhari happened.

After the Civil war came the first republic and hadn't the same Buhari not truncated that government, Dr. Alex would have probably stood for the UPN and won overwhelming despite being Igbo.

1993 elections also prove this theory right where 2 Muslims were on the ballot and won convincingly.

In 1999, Dr. Alex also stood for PDPs ticket against Obj, and that could have gone either way.

Dr. Odili could have succeeded Obj in 2007 if they didn't have some differences.

Imagine Yaradua completed his 8 years, don't you think we would have been curious about giving Buhari or an Atiku a chance?

The death of Yaradua caused a disbalance in our Political field, and Jonathan somehow made things worse by insisting on continuing and performing woefully. If Jonathan had won in 2015, don't u think Tinubu would have been the forerunner in 2019?

These are my thoughts sha, I'm not a political juggernaut/analyst, I don't like Nigeria politics.
For once, let’s be objective in assessing Atiku. What was his performance like when he had full State Powers acting for Obasanjo? What he did then can safely be taken to the Bank as assurance of his posture in power as President. What was Osinbajo in power when he had full State Powers acting for Buhari? What he did then can safely be taken to the Bank as assurance of his posture in power as President. One hopes and prays that Nigerians will choose wisely. Has anyone stopped to ask why Buhari has not vested Osinbajo with full State Powers again when he traveled?

Exactly! If a Fulani is deemed fit to run the state again in 2023 lets vote him.

Vote personality and not region.
Nigeria has voted four Fulani's presidents and not one of them has been any good.

Balewa (part Fulani) led Nigeria to a violent political system and civil war.
Shagari led Nigeria to its worst recession
Yaradua died on the job
Buhari ...I give up

Let try something else maybe a Hausa man, Tiv, Bini, Igbo, Yoruba anything but another Fulani.

shocked

I'm not among the Nigerian that is not bothered where the next President comes from.

I must clearly say i do bother, anything short of SOUTH is a No No for me and any party that will make the mistake to zone the President back to North will lose.

Finally I pray for Peter Obi or Makinde they all have all it takes to repair the damages caused by Buhari and APC led government.
No be by insisting on a southerner.....its by coming out to support and vote a southerner thats lacking among southerners

There has never been an election at least a southerner isnt on the ballot...but do southerners even vote their own when they need tohuh...in 2019 southerners massively voted for northerners while there are tons of southerners on the ballot...heck sowore got only 30,000 mainly southerners votes

Make una stop dey hype Makinde too much...what is his pedigree that makes him qualify to be a presidential material?
His Only achievement is prompt payment of salaries.....Buhari is also paying salaries na

Oga Atiku it is important. North don rule. Allow others to rule.

SE 2023. Ifeanyi ugwuanyi commitee on pdp zoning arrangement should make sure pdp should zone the chairman position to the North so that the South especially the east will get the pdp presidential ticket.
PDP will still give a northern man the ticket watch out

Very laughable proposition! Is this not the same Ngige we witnessed his performance in the handling of the NARD strike? A visit to YouTube will avail anyone interested to see his abysmally poor performance laced with pompous, arrogant and shallow takes on the issue. He couldn’t be bothered if all Doctors in Nigeria relocated elsewhere leaving Nigerians without qualified Medical Doctors! His Presidency will make Nero’s Emperorship of Rome a child’s play! He reminds one of Patience Jonathan when she had her unsteady hands on the lever of Power.

Definitely

SW will get APC ticket

PDP will give it to SE or SW

For obvious reasons

If you don't know go and study Nigerian Politics from 1999 till date!

U are wrong. This country doesn't belong to the north who contribute nothing but take the lion share of everything.

PDP? SE? Where are the votes coming from! That’s a tall order! The desperation of the SE for power and the mistrust the North has for the SE will make that very unlikely. The SE does not know what it really wants. At least the North is unsure of what the SE wants.

Are there still Hausas in Nigeria?

Looks as if they have all been exterminated, or are they simply cowards?

They don't even have any political clout.

Fulani are just disturbing the peace everyday
You think your media propaganda has anything to by in the north? The north doesn't see any difference between Hausa and Fulani. Let that sink into your media schooled skull.

Just because of Buhari everything across Niger river is Fulani. Hypocrisy is deadly disease.

Ibos will be very confuse come 2023. Obviously, they'll never produce president, they'll be left with 2 options of either supporting Tinubu candidate or voting their main oppressors who are the fulanis
Any Igbo who is confused between those two choices must be a novice in Nigerias political history.

You will need to rethink your position. Ask the Benue, the Hausa, The Berom, The Angas et al who have tasted the hegemonic bile of the Fulani. There is a difference. For instance, no one who lives in Jos and is not Fulani will roam Jos North freely.
