Farzat:
Invitation of only 3 midfielders for a match will always result in a performance like this, it could have been worse if Bonke started. Where exactly is the coach expecting the creativity and ball retention from? Is it from the wingers that he always assign defensive duties to? BTW what exactly is Ekong expecting from all those long balls, how is he better then Awazie? Or how is Okoye better than Uzoho?
I really don't know the magic the Nff is expecting from this coach. After 5yrs of coaching a talented young team like SE, we still don't have a pattern of play, still depending on individual efforts and luck to win a team like CAR.
This is unacceptable, this man must not add to the frustration of Nigerians

Wise words!

But , what else do you expect when you have people like Pinnick and Eguavon at the helms of NFF.

I did not bring any debate comparing se of 94 to this eagles

All I said is many of our ex players where overrated

You just want to enter rohr team because he hasn’t won anything ,but person wey no no football go think say 94 team win World Cup with the way most of una Dey yarn

They won only the afcon ,don’t come and be telling me how teams use to fear them ,no be that one we wan chop
If that 94 team beat Italy then you would have rate them.

Pls don't compare the team with any team Nigeria produced from 98 to date..

94 set of players were masterclass, forget afcon they won even 2013 team won it but they are real golden eagles.

I can only compare 1978 team with them who threw 78 world cup qualifications away with own goal though the team later won afcon 80.

I really hope something different happens before we get to the next round of qualifiers because if fortunately or unfortunately for us we have some of our players out due to injuries, we might not get to the world stage.

I still can't believe what is happening.
For 90 mins at home against a lowly rated side like CAR, the super eagles couldn't create a meaningful chance talk more of scoring.

I believe we will beat them black and blue in Cameroun though.

Same pattern .. relying on luck against minnows at home.
This team still has no identity.
Rohr appears destined to underachieve with this present squad.
If he doesn't fix the midfield imbalance and other niggling issues....these players should prepare to be amongst the spectators at Qatar.

Goal. This is what I've been saying, except that this wake up call came very late in this match and there's no time to try something better from our end
