your tv is probably a smart tv the remote looks like mine

Go and download LG thinQ app from play store

Your tv and phone must be connected to the same wifi cheers

is your tv smart?

If yes click on quick menu from your remote navigate to connection it'll be there

your tv isn't smart you should go for the Miracast I think

I know you can connect your TVS to your phone through miracast only if your TV model is Smart tv.
Confirm if your TV is a Smart TV model by calling LG customer service they would be helpful.
