I know of at least two Chinese Americans who got into soup for spying

Including a lot of white people. A large number of white people.

I live here and am not sure that guy lacks money working in such capacity here in the state .

Entrusting someone with such data is worth more than a life time opportunity and loosing it is worse.
That guy must be a saboteur and greedy fellow.

Lemme relate this to movie story,

Probably the man's son is in military n he lost his life due to negligence of the the government n the man is thinking of a way to get revenge on the government, then came up to selling a nuclear secret data to enemy country, who knows if it's NK he thought he was selling the secrets to.

Trust me, whites aren't greedy to go that extent for money n the money demanded doesn't even worth it so I assume he has another reason other than the money involved...

These kind of espionage cases may seem strange now, but they were quite normal during the Cold War era. One of them involved the arrest of a double agent here in Lagos. The man was meant to be a KGB agent, but he had switched sides and was spying for the Americans. He was the resident KGB counter-intelligence officer at the Soviet Embassy in Lagos, but he was spying for the Americans.

However, an American CIA officer had begun spying for the Soviets and he had given them a list of Soviet officers that were spying for American and that list included the Russian in Lagos.

All of these happened in the 1980s, but the CIA officer was not caught until 1994. It happened by accident that the FBI realised that this man, Aldrich Ames, was spending more money than he was earning and so they began investigating him.

The CIA had suspected, since 1986, that there was a mole in the agency, but they couldn't find him. The KGB also constructed an elaborate scheme to confuse the CIA. It was only after Ames and his wife began spending ridiculous amounts of money that the FBI and CIA began to suspect him and so they bugged and tailed him until they finally had enough to arrest him.

The KGB officer in Lagos was told that he had been promoted and that he had to return quickly to Moscow to confirm the promotion. He was arrested in Moscow, tried and executed.

That type of thing happened all the time.

If it were to be Nigeria, the DSS will arrest first, then start fruitless and endless search for evidences. The way this oyinbo trail and conduct investigations is top notch. The couples have been suspected. Their behaviour was definitely under watch which is why an FBI agent was assigned to them without their knowledge, thinking he is a foreign agent. I hope Nigeria can attain this level of professionalism

If you are not a citizen of the United States by birth, you can not fly strategic fighter planes like the F-22 raptor, the B-2 spirit bomber, F-35 lightening.

You can join the military as a naturalised citizen, but you will never be allowed to fly those aircrafts.

does it mean a citizen by birth can't go rogue? I'm sure what they are driving at is a highly selective system because like you said, those are strategic bomber jets. Can't be for every Jack and Harry.
