We currently having a village meeting... Update coming soon. Location Umuneke Ngor, Ngor Okpala Imo State Please I will like to bring the notice of the Imo State government to come and intervene in this crisis. Yesterday according to what we heard, there was a sit at home in the state, so within the Local government there were movement but no much activities. Some sand field workers who helps in loading sand at the LGA mining site where they pulp white sand, was on their site at a village called Umuowerre same in Ngor Okpala very close to our village. When they sight one of the Fulani boys with their cows, stepping on some hip of white sand packed close to the road side when one owner start shouting on the boy and jokingly told them to find somewhere to stay that didn't they no that today is sit at home, whether their people don't use to stay at home The Fulani and the guy start exchanging words and they started fighting until when the Fulani guy brought out a knife and stab the boy, the boy struggle and stabbed him back, then some sand field boys upon seeing Fulani boy fighting their colleague, they start beating the Fulani boy. On that process the other Fulani ran away and they took the boy to the nearest bush, uptill now they haven't seen the Fulani boy. Since yesterday the matter is being treated at the Area command in Umuneke Ngor, only for today some more Fulani keep coming in their numbers in the community. As at writing this they are more than 40 in numbers and we are hearing rumors than they killed the Fulani boy and throw his body to the river, some said they buried him till now the youths I the community can't find the boy. Multiple arrest has being made since yesterday till now but the situation is getting tense because of the numbers of Fulanis that keep coming in to the village looking for the whereabout of their brother. Umuneke Ngor is the local government headquarter of Ngor Okpala in Imo State but the crime was committed in Umuowerre some few kilometers from the headquarters. The community has called for total security watch and all the youths are coming out to keep watch for the night in case if attack from the Fulanis. Update Still looking for the body of the Fulani boy while the 2 akwa ibom guys that took the him into the bush is no where to be found. The entire village has volunteer to look for the body of the Fulani boy. Eze of the affected community addressing the whole vilage this morning. Update: The body of the Fulani boy has being found in the river which we believe the 2 akwa ibom boys dump him there and ran away and the brother of the boy that committed the crime has being arrested while the boy has ran away. Effort has being made to create peace in the community while the police has set out to found the suspected murderers. I have being receiving threat message to pull this thread down... I will do so if the pressure keep coming

May God give them different tongues. However you guys need to stay awake and be armed also. One more thing, take the fight to their domain and not inside your village to avoid properties being destroyed. God be with you |

The outcome of the meeting should be Protect Yourself. Always be on guard. Arm yourselves... No one is coming to save you. In my village, every family can boast of two or more tools for protection. |

odysey:The best defense against cattle-herding terrorist land-grabbers does not entail the deployment of makeshift weapons like the Molotov Cocktails you describe here. Foremost in mind must be the sobering cognizance that tribe, religion, and political connection at the federal level combine to bestow those terrorist invaders from Niger, Chad, Senegal, Mali, and Gambia's Futajallon Mountains, with direct tactical support from the Nigerian army's elite stormtroopers, in furtherance of their openly proclaimed annexation agenda for southern Nigeria's rich agricultural bread basket. When civilians are faced with the might of a federal military machine, their ONLY prudent option is to FLEE their homes at the earliest possible juncture, taking care to avoid major travel routes if possible when in mortal flight from their imperiled towns and villages. Against an attacking force of battle-hardened soldiers in the dead of night, civilians do not stand the proverbial snowball's chance in hell, of surviving the encounter. Flee while you can, if your kinfolk have killed one of the terrorist invaders because the clock is ticking down to that inevitable "night of the long knives" nocturnal retribution typically exacted with heinous efficiency and dispatch. Igboland is essentially at war currently, and the primary concern of all civilians in the area should be to make their way out before it is too late. |

Jakumo:then it's for them to arm themselves properly, sacrifice a few to get the enemies weapons and use it against them |

odysey:Easier said than done brother man. When civilians go up against highly trained, war-tested troops, the outcome is pretty much preordained. |

Jakumo:Are you ok at all? Anyway I dare the Fulanis to touch one hair in that local government and watch as we expel all of them out of the East. We have been waiting for an opportunity to do that since. Nonsense!!! |

Inasmuch as I detest violence and murder, I will still ask why so much panick? A pastor was hacked to death in Kano, no arrest no much panick and everything was just normal, many people get killed in different parts of the country without much noise.. is the Fulani of Nigeria first class citizens? |
