A security expert, Sir Chikwe Udensi has accused governors of the South East region of sleeping on duty over their alleged failure to fight insecurity in the geopolitical zone with the instrumentality of Ebubeagu security outfit they earlier set up.

He said the governors have failed to key into the liberality of federal government to allow a regional security outfit to make the region safe for the people.

Speaking with ABN TV in Abuja, he accused the South-East Governors of jeopardising the lives of the people even with the glaring inability of the federal agencies to protect the region.

While stating that the governors issue communiques they are not ready to implement at the end of every meeting, he dissuaded insinuation that Ebubeagu has been inactive due to lack of finance.

He said in Ekiti and other South-West states where Amotekun is functional, they earn less than the States in South East.

He attributed it to lack of readiness to secure the region, describing as ridiculous the decision of Abia State Government to send Ebubeagu operatives into the forest without arming them to confront killer herdsmen.

While calling for improvement of governance attitude with regards to security, Sir Udensi applauded them for achievements in other areas but insists that a lot need to be done in the area of security.

He called on them to put security at the front burner so that other areas of the economy could develop.

Imagine going to war with people that carries weapon with bare hands. When you are not Israel vs Assyria or Philistines of old.

They are all clueless. All they think about is their pockets.
And how to dance to the tune of their masters

especially because alot of these police officers/ army guys are not Igbos and dont have any emotional connection to the land they are "protecting" so they just do anyhow. look at what happened at Izombe a few days ago, an entire village razed to the ground

infact if the governors had confronted the fulani herdsmen issue and police extortion and extrajudicial killings earlier, there would be no unknown gunmen today. just a total failure of government

They are out of touch with their people, imagine a soldier captured on camera telling his colleagues who were burning down houses in Izombe, Imo state that any person you see 'Kill am' and the Governor is yet to release a statement condemning such dehumanising act on his people because he wants to remain in the good books of Abuja

Actually Ebubeagu was hurriedly put up so the masses can think they are working like their Swesterners counterpart did with Amotekun and also to counter ESN then.
But how Ebubeagu will work, the equipment to use, what exactly their goal is and how to finace them.. These are in the Hand of God

Kanu has proven to be the greatest Igbo man that ever lives, he's an idol, his word is a law in igbo land, his voice is the voice of god to an igbo youth, superior to all the governors in Igbo land. His ESN buried ebubeagu and never allow it to be fruitful.

First, Why won't the Governors be sleeping on duty when the citizens themselves are not cooperating but rather sponsoring those criminals.

Secondly, it is very clear that Igbo people are not united. Everyone feels they have money and can do what they want without the help of another person. As such no single unity among them.

Lastly, the hate for Buhari is real. They hate Buhari for not protecting them and at the same time say Buhari should not come to their rescue. They are confused set of people entirely.

Story. Ebube oké is never their initiative so it can never work. It's an Abuja imposed security outfit.

We said it earlier that ebube oke is dead on arrival. The Apc demonic zombie miscreants were hailing them. Now have they not left you?

Better not risk the lives of innocent being, the Ebubeagu personnel that IPOB said they would kill.
Those terrorists don't care sending their fellow Easterners to their early graves.

very sad truth indeed.

The unfortunate thing is that most of the Governors of the Southeast are not peoples choice.

We saw what happened in Imo State where Hausa-Fulani controlled federal government used federal power to remove people elected Governor Emeka Ihedioha and enthroned Hopeless Uzodinma in Imo State against the will of the people, so how do you expect these saboteur Governors to act in the interest of the people when they know that they dont need peoples vote to retain their seat, but only need to please Hausa-Fulani federal officials to help them retain their useless political positions in the Southeast.

These are part of the reasons the majority of Igbo youths want to leave Nigeria because Hausa-Fulani controlled federal government will always use their federal might to elevate and enthrone the most useless, the most corrupt Igbo politicians in Southeast in order to keep Southeast undeveloped and below par.

This has been the struggle of the Southeast since the end of the civil war in 1970 and reason the new generation youths are queuing behind Nnamdi Kanu and asking for complete separation from Nigeria
