Can this model-Sumec Fireman last for more than year considering the nature of the business. The gen would probably be on from 9am-9:30pm practically everyday. One p2game,32" tv, chargers and desktops over 120sockets and four bulbs

Working 12hours everyday yes but he will be sevicing it every week to maintain a good long life span and be ready for any wear and tear parts replacement OR he get a used one to support if he can't buy 2 new one.

With this your formula, it means the Sumec SPG3000E2 is approximately 6KVA . Don't know how you arrived at this, but it doesn't apply here.

Modified : you did a direct conversion from mechanical power in Hp to kva , it's not the case ooo. The mechanical power from the engine is not equal to the electrical power from the coil. The electrical power is much less.

Boss, just got this sumec 3000e2 before I stumbled on this thread and it's now looking fake to me because I saw a post on here stating that shinny engine is another way to know a fake gen and this one looks shinny, though I haven't used it yet

Best bet na to ask the man the process na . Of course dem go need coil and some other things. Lastly, a 1.5kva generator can power 3 shops too, it depends on the total load. What do you think the load is like on those 3 shops?

A 2.5kva generator can carry those and even more more. If you calculate the amount you'll get the grinding machine!+cost of coil and other small equipment plus workmanship, I think buying a generator is cheaper. A generator will be more rugged, portable and easier to maintain too.

Please I have a Firman 5kva diesel generator. It is relatively new as I bought it 2 months ago.

Currently, the gen is not supplying electricity, when powered on. Once I start the gen, it gets on just fine, but no output.

Kindly advise what could be wrong with the generator and how to fix it. Thanks.

It can go as far as 3years without any problem if it is used diligently and serviced at when due

Not advisable cos there is different oil weight

I'm using one, lt3600 though I just it last week but I can say it's a good generator so far. Make sure u buy the one with copper coil

Lutian fake generators are not much in the market if all there are. U can tell them to loose the coil and u inspect the coil. Pls, try to know the differences between copper and aluminum coil before u go to market

Never mix oil with any brand or weight.. Obviously if it is an emergency especially if u on the road . than ok , but once u get a chance replace with same brand .. You can always switch brands , but not mix
