No matter how you look at it, no club should be paying 20m pounds and 500k pounds weekly for a 36 year old. It makes no sense at all. Especially when you have other younger and better players.

The worst thing is that Utd was never his first choice. He really wanted City where he was almost sure of winning a title with little input. As them no gree pay am big money, he decided to go for the option that will pay him big money and put him in the spotlight like Messi was when he went to PSG.

Messi and Ronaldo are finished. The sooner we accept that, the better for football.

Watching Libgard and Ronaldo play against Villarreal I see that they both possess some sort of Chemistry ( like the Marcelo-Ronaldo chemistry) . A smart coach will utilize that.

I agree with you except for that last part. I might not like CR but he and Messi are far from finished even though they've dropped a gear lower. Still, their 'finished' version is still better than several other good players in their prime. Also, you dont write them off early as they have the experience and capacity to come back and dominate.

Perilous times at Manchester United.

It was a match between homologous 11-man Leicester and a random mish-mash of Manchester United players. The result? Absolute disgrace to a rather impressive unbeaten away run.

This was a home team that knew to ask for the game right at the final third, with so much intent and coordination. Even their sub had a goal! That's a team with one intent. Press the defence and steal the ball in the final third!

Now, where did Manchester United go wrong? You'd imagine that our midfield generated a lot of potentials when the game was 1-1. But that couldn't help anybody. The players handled the ball autonomously. You see Pogba trying to win back the ball all on his own. Greenwood sitting deep (why huh

) CR7 fleeting about. Fernandes same. There was no network anywhere!

And I'll be justified to point fingers at Ole. What do you tell the boys? Why would you even think - at 1-1 - that Leicester was going to not come at you in the final third? Just look at the whole mess! Yet you make random substitutions, hoping individual class would save you. That's not title-winning strategy and I'm afraid I'll have to sit and watch the fans stick it to Ole after today.

A great game no doubt, at least for the neutrals. Leicester were collected. Pressed Maguire to no end, and forced set pieces down de Gea's throat like some experienced baby nanny. That's how you come back from 1-0 to 4-2. Simple.

Unto the next fixtures still. They'll be tougher, and I don't see how this Manchester United can come out of it without miseries. Still, we go at it. .

When you're talking about a senior among English teams, that should be Liverpool and United of which Liverpool is a bigger brother to. Give City 5 more years, they would be in contention with Liverpool for the senior men while United will have to drag the number of titles won with Chelsea and Arsenal.

The truth of the matter is; that leicester formation is a killer strategy that fools opposition team to try to out play their 3 man defense but in reality — leciester owns the midfield and can dictate the play of events.

Don't forget that those your "younger and better" players don't command half of the profit potential that C Ronaldo and Messi command. For instance, look at only their jersey sales in the three weeks of their signing. Don't forget football is first a business to the owners before any other thing. It's the fans that but any other thing before business profitability in football, sadly for the fans, they have their say, but the owners have their way
