First thing is to admit that signing Ronaldo was a big mistake. He’s going to be another Sanchez/Falcao. Terminate his contract and make good use of Cavani. Then sack that PE teacher solksjaer and bring in Zidane angry

CR7 is not the problem but the clueless Ole

Pogba buried Ole in the post-match interview.

If he's that tired of clueless tactics, imagine how the fans feel.

Defensively he’s a problem. He doesn’t track back. Opposing teams are exploiting this weakness of Man U. You press them and it’s almost like playing against 10 men.

Who in their right senses leaves Juventus where the league is almost certain, where you get to take all the PKs, where highest goal scorer of the league is within reach, and UCL is a possibility.. to come and play for a Manchester United side that is on a downward spiral
TBH, City was his first choice, but I’m very sure City didn’t need him and his ego will be too much for Pep to handle. So United fans saying he “snubbed City to be with them” are delusional lol

Na bench he go sit for City

You think Guardiola dey use players wey go dey wait inside box 18 make others they work make e dey tap in

Ronaldinho wey better pass am sef got axed while in his prime

Not to talk of this version of Ronaldo wey Don decline

You don't know what you are saying. Ronaldinho was axed because of his indiscipline. He was always clubbing and coming late to trainning. Injuries also had a toll on him.
CR7 is highly disciplined and also a hard worker. Pep cannot bench him.

No matter how you look at it, no club should be paying 20m pounds and 500k pounds weekly for a 36 year old. It makes no sense at all. Especially when you have other younger and better players.

The worst thing is that Utd was never his first choice. He really wanted City where he was almost sure of winning a title with little input. As them no gree pay am big money, he decided to go for the option that will pay him big money and put him in the spotlight like Messi was when he went to PSG.

Messi and Ronaldo are finished. The sooner we accept that, the better for football.

Who told you he joined United because of money and spotlight? Didn't you read about how Ferguson and other Ex players persuaded him to come back to Man utd?

Somebody wanted a club where there would be opportunities for 'tap-ins' like City and was rejected and now you are saying the opposite. He also chose City above Man U cos of higher probability of carrying UCL.

You mean he and his agent didn't see Man U on ground where his supposed legendary status could be easily maintained on ground before approaching City?

Pep needs a striker who would be disturbing the back lines of the opposing teams in order to increase the numbers of mistakes and errors that might lead to goals, and who would be tracking back from time to time and Ronaldo would definitely failed in this aspect.

An affirmation that he is free to come to City but that his position is not guaranteed in the starting line up by Pep was what fears him most.

Get your fact right.

If you have a tv, Watch Brentford vs Chelsea that is on tv right now. You will see the work that Lukaku and Werner are putting in defensively.

Modern football is about team defending. When the opposition is pressing, attackers track back to defend. The team defends as a unit and then looks for fast break opportunities. You cannot do this successfully when you have a player that cannot track back to help in defending.

I’m done with you. I get the feeling that you don’t know a lot about modern football. Let me discuss with adults that understand the modern game wink

I do know what I'm saying, you, I doubt

Ronaldinho never played under Guardiola
Immediately he took the job, he listed 3 players he wanted gone

So what has indiscipline got to do with his choice?

He mentioned Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto

They were unable to sell Eto on time, but was still exchanged with ibrahimovic the following season

Similar thing at City, Toure, Kompany and Joe Hart... Key figures Guardiola wanted axed

Guardiola's issues is all about Ego thing, and also loves fielding younger, fresher legs and players

Ronaldo will not make first team under Guardiola, take that to the bank
Guardiola doesn't rate him, neither did he want him

Reason why he was being hawker up and down till united saved face

Guardiola's principle is all about a false 9, a mobile forward leading the line not your typical target man

A young ibrahimovic was eventually benched and frustrated out... Is it now a declining Cr7 that will make his cut grin

Get ur facts right about City

Pep never for once wanted to axe Kompany, in fact Kompany was d key to his success in City bcuz Kompany helped him with d dressing room nd players iss. Kompany was even one of key factor to pep success in City.
About Joe Hart, Pep said it nd everybody knew from d beginning that Joe wasn't good at playing from d back, he wasn't good on the ball.
If it's about that , have u forgotten pep brought in another keeper that wasn't good enough also.

Everything u said shows u don't like Pep nd he doesn't need u to like him.

He's still d best coach in the world

I suppose Antonio Conte remains available. United had better buy in before winter when a whole slew of equally under performing clubs with cash and ambition shuffle their dugouts and will snap him up.

He is one of the few coaches out there with the personality and discipline to radically change a side, something this United squad badly needs.
And he has coached and won things in the tough Premiership.

I agree pep is the best coach in the world

I've been a Barca fan way long

And I don't see you countering any other names I mentioned asides Kompany

Kompany turned his situation with pep around and the fact that signings he signed didn't live up to expectation

But yeah, initially pep never wanted Kompany

They eventually became good buddies and he didn't want him to leave as at when he left.
