Forget all the pretence in church, it's this children that live with the parents real character almost 24/7. We only see and hear them from the pulpit say, for 3-4 hours a week. You forgot to list other Bible character that raised Godly seeds. Namely;

Philip the deacon: raised four virgin, who prophesied.

Mary and Joseph: Raised the saviour of the world and many more are in the list.

What about our contemporary Christian home?

Bishop David and Faith oyedepo: Raised four kingdom giants.

Pastor E.A Adeboye: Raised firebrand children and many more.

Op, there are many homes around me that raised Godly children and I am raising mine as well by God's grace.

No parenting program can guarantee their children’s godliness. Parenting is laden with challenges, in our world today, it is even more challenging to raise a godly child. There are way too many distractions everywhere. Unfortunately, many Christian parents are not equally prepared to teach their kids the case for the truth of Christianity and how to defend their beliefs.

There is very little one man can do to help another person, though you are a child of big pastor and decided to go your own way of life different from your parents, it is a choice and you will reap the results first before you share the results with your family members.

The Bible says you can take a horse to the river to drink but you can not force the horse to drink water.

A wise son looks up to his father for example irrespective. A good son should pick the good qualities of his father irrespective.

It is because they focus there useless attention talking down and claiming righteous to other people's children thinking that they're done raising theirs but finally their own children are more useless, irresponsible and failed!

Everybody is responsible to God as individuals for their own personal choices. The fathers are not responsible for the sins of their children, and the children are not responsible for the sins of their fathers.

Raising upright children and inculcating moral in them is a task and challenge on its own that all parents must be aiming at and working towards to especially in this contemporary era of Yahoo Yahoo in our society, where our children are obsessed with money and luxurious gadgets, olooshoism shedi balabala shedi bolobolo on Instagram.

True very very true

A major reason why Christian parents fail in parenting is inadequate understanding on the subject itself. Generally, we tend not to be intentional about learning things that are not conventionally classified as "formal." People don't get deliberate to learn about marriage, how to relate with your spouse, raising children, learn about leadership, finance, etc. Yet we except to do well on this fount. Most people rely on their experience or how their parents handled them and want to do the same for their children not minding that time and circumstances have changed.
God is still helping a lot of Christian parents to get successful at this pertinent task of parenting. My advice is to go for knowledge and be intentional.

Real life proves different to me. All the godly parents I know raised the very same type of children.

They are busy doing God's work forgetting the instructions of God of the work to train their children. Few of them like Abraham and Joshua trained their children

There are a lot of Godly and we'll mannered children from Godly parents. Because the few bad eggs from the Godly parents are well spoken and criticised about, that's why it seems so. I've seen brilliant and hardworking children from drunkard father or even broken home.
My neighbor for instance, he has a boy, an only child, he is a deeper life pastor, he even uses megaphone to preach, but his son don spoil tey tey, him dey smoke, fcvk, gamble, yahoo, flexing etc. Nothing the man fit do. If pikin wan get sense,na by himself, nobody go force am.

Hausa have a saying ' I born pikin, I no born him character'.

Some "Godly parents" and men/women of God led a wanton and reckless life style during their youth, befire they got called. Hence , their offspring can't be any different
