Seems like Dune is now available on the high seas.

I think I kind of know what to expect given the director's filmography.

Dennis Villeneuve has a knack for making films that are pretty to look at with quality story telling.

Where he has failed consistently in my opinion is in the entertainment value.

It's like eating a gourmet meal that is tasteless: you know the chef has put in some good work, quality dressing, inviting aroma yet you feel unsatisfied after consuming it.

Preview of Dune!: 3/4 stars.

Quality visuals, engaging adventure story.

Oscar worthy performance for Timothee Chalamet (Hollywood's sweetheart), Oscar Isaacs and Josh Brolin: maybe Chalamet might become an A list star after this.

However, it could use a little bit of excitement for its slow pace.

the 720p I downloaded yesterday was worth every data. The resolution filled out my 32 inch Smart TV very well. Clear and high definition.
