Hmm! From that data, Abuja had more air traffic compared to Lagos and it's somehow unbelievable.

Again, how come Owerri's air traffic is increasing even to the extent it is higher than that of Kano inspite of the seeming insecurity in the region and the incessant seat at home orders? Does it mean that the city is more economically viable than we think? Food for thought!

Stats can really be incredible at times.
Owerri is a major tourism destination with hotels, clubs, restaurants etc

Even with Boko Haram insurgence, why is Maiduguri data higher than Akure and Ibadam put together?
Because Youubas have abandoned all their Ewedu and Gbegiri states for Lagos, 70% of Yorubas live in Lagos, 8% in London, 6% in USA, 5% scattered all over the world while the remaining 11% live in Ibadan, leaving the remaining parts of Yoruba lands for Fulani herdsmen their headmaster cheesy

The poverty capital of the south are glorifying the data from the national bureau of statistics but when it is the data that doesn't favour them they call it oluwole data, whereas they have forgotten that, base of region, their inviable landlocked land have not measure up to ⅛ of that of Abuja and Lagos
Have some shame bro. A former capital and commercial center, plus the present capital is what you are comparing with owerri? As if you don't know why the high volume for the two. Have some sham and have some sense while you are at it. Not that there is any reason for the dikcccc measuring contest

Owerri has always been busy as per air travel. Most airlines operate daily flights to owerri while the others apart from PH Lagos Abuja and Enugu operate once or twice a week

One Igbo that do drugs might decide to leave the country today to supply his "goods" and "development" other countries and then come back immediately and he can go like twice in a week like that, now say average of 10,000 igbos do drug and go in and out of the country like that, so 63,258 is complete. it is a simple logic
is that how your people export terrorism and skull mining? grin

Have you been to Kano before?

How is this statistics a pointer that the east is doing well?

Oga it has not reach to abuse and insults. Why is it that when you people met strong argument you Yorubas resort to insults instead of providing your own strong argument to counter it

Insecurity is making road transport unpopular so air traffic is increasing. This is especially true given there is no functional rail transport system or good Federal roads in the South East. Air travel is the safest.
