What makes you think splitting the country will lead to better outcomes?

My bet is that it wouldn't
Drawing new borders wont change anything much
The mentality is still the same

I completely and vehemently disagree...

Eastern, Western, even Middle Belt Nigeria nations will never be the same as this current contraption! NEVER!!! Especially the first two!

For starters, they will have far better constitutions with laws that are fair and equitable. They will also have better financial and economical priorities!... They won't be earmarking half of their national budgets on shocking things like RUGA, Railway lines to deserts, Presidential clinics that treat no one, etc...

When you are running a degree abroad, you are studying to becoming educated.

In Nigeria, you are schooling...with no hope of being educated or getting a job. That's why they say school na scam (Nigeria)....not education (abroad).

Abroad, it's called tutors.

In Nigeria, lecturers.

Abroad, free modules.

In Nigeria, recycled expensive rubbish called handouts.

Abroad, you have discussions, interviews, responses and peer-reviews...before assignments.

In Nigeria, tear a sheet of paper.

Abroad, you have a zeal in attending classes.

In Nigeria, “course rep, where is my attendance? Who has paid for my handouts?”

Abroad, A shows you are a bright student. You may never get to get zero...they'll be marks for attempting.

In Nigeria, A is for God, B is for Lecturer, C is for serious students which comprise those interested in sexually transmitted grades, and yahoo boys.

Abroad, you can request for extensions if you miss assignments.

In Nigeria, who is your father to walk into my office to authorise me to give you grace?

Abroad, there is serenity to learn.

In Nigeria, you are always on pressure. How can you learn?

Abroad, you are addressed respectfully by your surname...“Mr. Smith, I am afraid you are going to have to go on detention for a week.”

In Nigeria, “hey, you...Kai, if you do as if it is not you I am talking to eh, I swear to God. I will show you what you haven't seen all your life. It's not a threat. You'll carry this course over.”

Abroad, tutors get sacked for thinking of attempting to make things difficult for students by their actions or inactions.

In Nigeria, go and dare report a lecturer. Your days in that school will be the days of Methuselah.

Brethren, no matter the urge you have, never you argue abroad you are from Nigeria.

These are two different worlds.

Nigeria is an international village forced together for administrative convenience by colonial masters! Nigeria is not a country!

With these few points of mine....

Thank you.

You nailed it. Many of us are victims of these. I would have graduated with a 1st class but I ended up with 2 1. The 2 1 self was just by grace cos I was totally frustrated. The lecturer asked me out I refused, and my remaining days in the university was frustration;re-writing courses, courses i would have had As, it affected my GP badly. Thank God for my project supervisor who spoke up and faculty meetings were held but by then , the did has been done. If I see the next opportunity to study overseas I won't waste time. Nigeria isnt a country for anything 'education' it's scam, especially for ladies, you just have to use your body to 'sort' to get high scores. And for the guys, if you can't settle these 'Wicked' lecturers' na carryover or a 'E'

Okay
I have heard what you have said
and it's a plausible argument
But let me ask you
Look at how the states and local governments are run
They are run by the same people from these states
And it is very very bad

In the private sector, no doubt the South is pulling its weight
But when it comes to the politics and the people on general
I am yet to be convinced that they are any different

This girl was disciplined enough to make it into a Oxbridge. Impressive.

I'm hoping she looses a lot of weight as she studies. She is so much prettier slimmer.

That really is a nice picture of her. She turned herself into a right porker, but it can all be shed with the right exercise regime.

Who would have thought that singer Adele could trim her bulk down so quickly and without gastric bypass surgery?

What's wrong with Nigeria really is the STRUCTURE of Nigeria

Exactly, the structure and the constitution have got to change... But, that is not the place or job of the governors.

Breaking the nation apart to smaller nations where they can agree on a path to growth and stick to it, will be better for everyone!

This nation is too skewed to favor some, and put others in peril! This is wrong!!!
