These 4th generation jets (like f-16 & f-15) have poor fuel efficiency, they are equipped with very expensive weapon (missiles & bombs) and can't stay airborne for long. Guerilla warfare can be really complicated. Air power alone won't do the job. You need a very strong ground troops too.

The super tucano is identified as a light attack aircraft. There's nowhere it's mentioned as a fighter.

The ability to carry air to ground loadouts, whether precision guided or inertial, does not mean specialist ground attack or CAS.

These planes are far from being a combat plane . They will be retrofitted to accommodate air to land missiles and possibly a machine gun turret ….

I would rather invest in small micro drones fitted with gos and cameras to go on the rampage and chase BH . These type of drones are harder to shoot down, and they can be fitted with small explosive munition or hidef cameras to track and locate BH coordinates .
