That would be something nice. I also encourage Yorubas to visit other states rather than stay in one place and shout "SE is a waste land."

See during my Youth Service, a certain Yoruba corps member said he was shocked at what he say in SE. The image painted to him was that SE is a land filled with only palm tress and cassava farms. He said that orientation changed when he got to Onitsha. I just nodded my head in disbelieve. Many Yorubas still have this belief. There are many Yorubas in Onitsha alone also in Owerri and other parts of the SE. But a larger percentage of your people back home still think Igbo land is a waste. They be like since Igbos leave their homeland to hustle, it must be inhabitable. They forget that there are more Igbos in Northern Nigeria than in south west.

Now to your delusion about Osun been "more developed than Anambra," (whatever this means). It only shows that you have allowed what you see/read on nairaland to becloud your sense of judgement thereby making you make false claims. No person in all fairness can make such assertions.

Now there isn't any state or region in this world without rural areas. If you've lived in Abuja, Nyaya and some other parts come to mind. Even Lagos has ghettos. London too. So bros, your argument actually holds no water.

Please don't allow what you see on nairaland turn you into a tribalist cause that's what I am suspecting.

During his last governorship campaign, he gifted Motorcycles, generators and other valuables to different ward chairmen and some members. When they rigged the election, he become the governor and ruled for 2weeks. Peter Obi sued him to court for rigging the election. During that 2weeks space, he was busy signing off and selling government properties just to recover the money spent during his campaign. It was unfortunate for him when he was about signing off the only Hotel owned by Anambra State government, information was given from Supreme Court Abuja that he should step down with immediate effect. Peter obi now took over from him.
That's the little I can remember, it's been long.

If you were not in Anambra during such period, you may not be able to know all that had happened. Hence, he's not far from the truth.
