A restructured Nigeria will reduce agitations of secession as each region will be governed by their own tribesmen and women.


It will improve security because there will be regional and state policing instead of the federal policing that have failed Nigeria woefully yet Northern Nigeria dont want it to end, why always them?

I am in total support of restructuring, however, I don't believe it will be a major solution to our problems. We have laws and institutions to curtail the problems bedeviling us, but people will not allow them to function. Those laws are being frustrated by both people of the south and north. People ensure systems and institutions work, it is deliberate effort, are we as a people ready for that? No. As it is evident here, efcc arrest someone and their region cries witch hunt. If Nigeria is restructured and Igbos for instance know that the leadership of their region is solely in the hands of their people, they will hold them accountable as can be seen happening in Southeast presently.


It is the federal system with all powers vested on Abuja thats making most politicians to take their people for granted. Most will perpetrate evil and corruption and flee to Abuja to hide under the corrupt federal government.


Such wont happen when restructured.
