Command Secondary schools are not owned by State Govt. They are owned and controlled by The Nigeriam Army Education Corp. and from my findings as an ex- commando that school in benin is not a comand secondary school but an army children school which is owned by the state Govt and controlled by state Govt.
We the CSS Alumni work hard to make sure CSS remains the best interms of discipline and Standard. Pls if trully its a comman Secondary School kindly provide the Commandants Name pls.

This happens to most Government schools.
What I've from my own school and my dad's own school, what happened was that the old students body came together to rescue the structures.
It's not easy. Get in touch with your old students by facebook or whatsapp and rescue your school.
For my school and my Dad's school too, Govt displayed same attitude.

don't even blame government for this. Those children destroy those stuffs you are seeing and sells the woods and iron to same indigenes of the state. Come to Edokpolo secondary school at lawani and see how these students are being arrested weekly by school principal and teachers. They will even remove the roof and window frames and sell them.

When caught, their mothers start coming to the station to shed tears and beg. The principal will collect money for damages and close case, so what about those who were not caught? Who will pay for those damages? You Benin indigenes should go and repair your homes, raise your kids well. Nor be everything be government

The commander needs to face a disciplinary committee or sack, CS is not a free school (Unlike Army day or Police schools) so they have money for renovations and reconstruction works but corruption won't allow such a thing to happen

I finished from Command day secondary school, Odogbo (now Adekunle Fajuyi) cantonment and the school still looks better than better.

Majority of the development around that school Army day is hindered by the soldiers there. left for me, that school should be shut down because down to the kids attending that school you need to come see dem and how they behave sleeping with each other in the streets, smoking Herm around the area, the list is endless.
Not only is it not suitable for learning it is also not safe for people around because that place don be depot of thieves.

stop saying what you know nothing about, army day secondary school is solely a public school, I attended the school, there's no longer a barrack there, it was a former barracks, I spent five years there and since the 90s it has a very insignificant or little army presence, I really don't understand you people o, stop spreading lies, how would students stay in class when there's no single chair in their class rooms?
