Has Anyone Applied For Germany Blue Card by seunoni34(m): 4:18pm On Oct 20, 2021
Hi guys,

I want to make enquiries about German blue card.

Has anyone applied recently?
I have booked appointment at the embassy and was told I'll get a date soon.

How long does it take to get an appointment date after booking? Any heads up from someone who have applied recently will be appreciated.

I know all the requirements. I've checked all those threads as well. I have booked appointment at the embassy as well. Just want to know how long it'll take to get an appointment date from anyone who have booked recently.
Re: Has Anyone Applied For Germany Blue Card by ndtgermany: 3:21pm On Oct 21, 2021
It all depends on the verification. It can be as quick as 5days to 3weeks and above.

Alright thanks.
If I may ask, what do you mean by "verification"?
Have you or do you know anyone that booked recently?

The Blue Card Visa (18b para 2) for a non EU citizen ( especially those relocating directly for the job) is given only after the Agentur für Arbeit ( German Government Work Agency) approves it. In the past they checked to see if locals or at least Europeans can do the job first ( although that law is getting more and more relaxed). They also verify the salary of the job to see if it is worth the blue card as well as your certificates ( if they are commensurate to the German standard) and or experience as an academic qualified professional.

Okay thanks for the info.

I was more interested in how long it takes to get an appointment date after booking. Verification seem like what is done after you must have gotten a date and submitted your application.

yes the working documents has to come from your german employer

no bank statement.

"NPC birth certificate or Declaration of Age deposed to by head of Family (please note that an
NPC birth certificate may only be accepted if the applicant is born after December 13th, 1992)"
What it means is that, if your age comes before 1992, then NPC certificate may not be accepted.

You will have to get an age declaration deposed by the head of family. If you go to high court, those people should have the template. I have not done it before.

For the healthcare sector, I believe the first step is to have at least a B2/C1 level of German before you can get jobs. C1 German would be better.

C2 German---Not too different from a native speaker
C1 German--- Proficient in language up to business/professional level
B2 German---Advanced and good enough for academics
B1 German---Average
A2 German---Basic but not beginner
A1 German---Ground level, basic beginner

Blue Card Germany
The EU Blue Card is the main residence permit for university graduates from abroad. It is a simple and unbureaucratic procedure geared to third-country nationals keen to put their talents to use in Germany. ... After 33 months of residence, Blue Card holders are eligible for a settlement permit.
