Yes, but it's more effective when you are already in profit so the stop loss can be used to lock in the profits.

If you buy sol at $185 and your TP1 is $200 while TP2 is $210, it's better to create the order when sol is above $205 so you can use $200 as stop loss.

If you buy at $185 and create OCO immediately, your stop loss will be $185 or less, and you might end up selling at a loss.
