Their strategy is very obvious.try divide Igbo into ndigbo Vs Ipob it worked like magic during the civil war by telling or riverine brethrens that they are not igbos that Igbos want to
dominate them.

During the end sars same strategy was applied by telling the Yoruba s that Igbos were responsible for the burning down of Lagos.

Their new trick is that Ipob want to capture ndigbo.isint that ridiculous?

What they failed to realise is that an average Igbo man is a freethinker and lover of freedom in this struggle we will stand together till the end.

I have said it several times and I'll keep saying it, I have never seen where reasonable people protest by sitting at home. Ipob youths are senseless criminals. These guys are not strategic at all! They are exceptionlly daft and even their supporters on nairaland post like deranged urchins.

Going by your write up, I must say you are a proud slave who doesn't know his left nor right. I have never seen a sane democratic government that shoots armless protesters. Dont you think the stupidity, prutality and the injustice methed out to indigbo by this government gave birth to the different kind of protest (sit at home). You don't expect them to go back to their shells and deny their leader(Igboho) like the afonja cowards. Ipob is much more brave, strategic, creative and dogged beyond your imagination. Guns and intimidation can never kill an ideology.

There are three problems with this write up:

1) It accuses IPOB of using terror tactics to intimidate the Igbo nation, without any proof. To this day, nobody has been able to show any proof that IPOB is using violence against anyone. All we have are baseless accusations and online gossip.

2) The writer is biased beyond reason and it shows in how side tracked the illegal rendition of Kanu by the Nigerian authorities. This writer who wants us to believe that he is very concerned about the illegalites he claims that IPOB and Kanu are perpetrating, but does not care if his own government indulges in the illegal arrest, detention and rendition of Kanu. I laugh in Chinese

3) The writer does not address what gave rise to IPOB, the failed state of Nigeria. Would there be anything like IPOB if Nigeria was working? Would anyone be talking about Biafra today if Nigeria was a united progressive nation? How does one expect to have a Nigeria nation characterised by injustice, and there wont be a group like IPOB, or someone like Kanu?

The writer is living in a dream world

Enforcing a sit at home is an act of terrorism
It is not compulsory to sit at home
Those who dont want to sit at home should go about their business without fear
That tricycle operator who got his tricycle burnt recently because he did not comply saddened me

The atmosphere of fear is not helping the case
Such is what happens when the brains are minding their business while the riff raffs and dullards fill in the void created by those who are to be doing the thinking

The Nigerian civil war was orchestrated by brains
Those who could reason
Chinua Achebe and co
IPOB today is a congregation of riff raff under achievers

You have to prove that IPOB is enforcing sit at home as IPOB has said it does not enforce sit at home and even condemned those doing it

If you have no proof that IPOB is enforcing sit at home, beyond sentiments and online gossip, close your mouth

Bellerophon:
The national fervor for self determination by the igbos like I said predates the ascension of MNK, IPOB and other splinter groups proclaiming the mandate for the actualization of a sovereign Igbo nation! IPOB like all things human is just an artificial congregation of like minded individuals at inception bound by the common desire for the execution and actualization of the mandate of Sovereign Biafra! That the group along the line has digressed from the purview of its stated objectives is a reflection of the ills of human character and aspirations wherever social and human interaction is occurring! People remain and retain who they are regardless of their membership of an expanded interaction, membership of social groups and societies do not rob us of the propensity of being human always! That unscrupulous people have hijacked the field operations or rural manifestation of the the political machinery of IPOB on ground does not delegitimize the validity of the Igbo struggle! I am not an Easterner and barely have Igbo friends but the truth must always be told! IPOB as a vehicle might have failed the aspiration of the people but Biafra is beyond an event with the lingering problem of temporal expiration! It is not a date on a calendar that igbos look forward to but a deep rooted belief in their perpetual disadvantage in the foisted political union of our country Nigeria! Humans will always be humans as can be seen in the hijack of the operations of IPOB but the truth remains the latter was only a means to an end! The end is the actualization of sovereign Biafra, ends don’t change as they are the ultimate reason and purpose, means however are dispensable and exchangeable, the only guarantee in their continued use and existence as means to the stated end being their significance and importance to the attainment of the desired end! If IPOB as a means has outlived its purpose, it will certainly be rejected and discarded by the people whose common voice has the importance of the voice of the gods! The end again I reiterate is Biafra, IPOB IS A MEANS that should be careful as it threads on egg shells for it is said and known that those the gods want to destroy they fan the embers of their insanity first! Killing fellow igbos is madness! Emasculating the region economically by needless sit homes order is madness! And after the madness... the rest is a tragedy!

Per the bolded, Igbos are guilty of it as they foisted the said Nigerian unity on all other tribes.
As at when Ahmadu Bello was nicknaming Nigeria THE MISTAKE OF 1914 and to that end demanding de-amalgamation; Awolowo was describing Nigeria as a MERE GEOGRAPHICAL EXPRESSION NOT QUALIFIED TO BE SUSTAINED AS A COUNTRY; and Tafawa Balewa describing Nigeria as a BRITISH EXPERIMENT and Nigeria's unity as a BRITISH INTENTION[b] on which Nigerians themselves reposed no faith; Azikiwe and Igbo leaders declared that; [b]THE UNITY OF NIGERIA IS PERPETUAL AND NON-NEGOTIABLE and then discredited Ahmadu Bello, Awolowo and Tafawa Balewa as agents of disunity and tribal bigots stung by the bug of ethnic chauvinism.

Find in the Link below where Azikiwe and his brothers together with him in the federal parliament fought against the inclusion of secession clause in our future constitution and where Azikiwe invented the philosophy of perpetuity and non-negotiable union for Nigeria.
Happy reading:

This write up is myopic and solely based on the writers imagination and not reality. While the Southwestern media is deliberately making a biased report because one of their own is making efforts to Arrow the turn of Ndigbo in prodicing President of Nigeria, they have failed to understand that something happened in late 2020 that has led to the deterioration of security in the Southeast. Example if Hope Uzodimma is removed today as Governor of Imo State there will be sudden peace like before his coming. If the present chairman of Ohaneze is removed there will be celebration across Southeast but why? The reason is because they were imposed against the wish of 90% of the people by force and supported using federal fire power thereby making the people see themselves as being enslaved and voiceless unlike Igbo culture of equality and freedom. People have been pushed to the wall and obviously those Igbos being attacked by fellow Igbos are those linked to these people imposed on the Igbos. Most Igbos are indifferent to IPOB especially in Imo where they had very little presence and followership until 2020.

Word!! This is your best post on this forum Abagworo. They don't know nor understand the gravity of what they did in Imo state via the satanic supreme court.

Every liberation movement in history takes its battle to the enemy and defends its own territory with suicidal determination. Only IPOB makes its own territory a battle frontline, mindlessly destroying facilities and other infrastructures that would rather serve well, the sovereign state it craves.

Imposing sit-in and lockdown orders, depriving Ndigbo of the essential and life-saving economic activities to fend off extreme deprivations emanating from the debilitating hemorrhage of a bankrupt Nigeria state is a total disservice to the Igbo nation.

The Republic of Biafra survived for nearly three years on account of the collective determination and sacrifices of Ndigbo through consultations and consensus. And IPOB, who wants now to own what it did not create, does not have the modesty and humility of generating a modicum of consensus through consultations rather it seeks to criminally conquer the Igbo nation through a relentless campaign of terror and intimidations.

IPOB riddled with failure, evil and cluelessness.

I say amen to this.

But the question now is, should the Igbos give up Biafra then or look for another leader?
