Depends on the circumstances. A man in my compound with nothing on him may be overpowered with minimum force and handed over. A man sighted with a dagger or something similar will get hurt by a similar object, subdued and handed over to the authorities. A man sighted with a gun will get a bullet. My point? If it was a female student that sneaked into a male dormitory, would the male student had mobbed the female student to death? besides, we all know no female or male will sneaked into opposite sex dormitory without "invitation"

Females have always perceived males as a threat and we can't really blame them cos many have suffered in the hands of predatory men. The girls involved in this sad incident definitely felt threatened and thought they will become rape victims if they did not fight back. When a person feels threatened and trapped with no way to flee, they fight back ferociously. I believe this is what happened. The time of the incident (4am) and the size of the perceived threat (5 boys) was definitely seen by each of the girls as a very big threat. Looking at their numbers compared to the invading boys, one may be tempted to say they poorly assessed the threat and so responded with unreasonable force. But in fearful or life threatening situations, emotions take control and humans tend to react irrationally.

When in dormitory, we caught one of our wicked gate man inside the dormitory one rainy night around 7. Only him knew how he sneaked in cos door was locked and hiding somewhere around junior wardrobe. The girl that saw him screamed on top of her voice and we all rushed down and cornered him. He started crying begging us to have mercy. For where. We All the things, eg, if you are late and beg him to allow you sneak into the classroom with strong reason, he will demand for bribe. If you refuse he will report you and our disciplinarian, gosh, was a nightmare, so we wanted our pound of flesh.

Las Las, the bad girls stripped him naked and took him to the principal's house under the rain Principal and most teachers houses are in the school premises. And the police was called to whisk him away. We didn't know what happened but we never saw him again.

actually it can if the person trespassed on ur own property especially if u can prove that his intents were to cause harm. Now tell me what a male is doing in a female dorm at that odd time of the night if he had no sinister plans?

I'm no lawyer but I strongly believe the prosecutor will have no case if there had been a history of rape and robbery in that dorm!!
