Don't mind them. Edo is my state but I have always said it that the average Edo person is the most sentimental and gullible in Nigeria. How a people could begin to discredit Lagos the best governed state just for political propaganda was a puzzle I couldn't unravel. Thank God today that those of us who took exception to that rubbish are vindicated. I wish there were third term in our laws I would have personally campaigned for an Obaseki stay till 2028 to allow him enough time to teach Edo people the lessons they refused to learn after lucky Igbinedion's disastrous two terms.

The day Buhari naively agreed to out of court settlement with PDP, Jonathan and Reuben Abati over the suit of the threat to make Nigeria ungovernable despite all indications pointing to his victory was the day I knew that Buhari might not have the intelligence it takes to sustain and defend a political party's fortunes.

God bless you. Oshiomhole can't really claim not to know the Obaseki who served under him for 8 years. He only railroaded Obaseki back then because he wanted to spite the very Ize-Iyamu who created the ACN in Edo State and made the party offer him the 2007 ticket of the party. Oshiomhole too was an ingrate in a way and has paid dearly for it.
