Out of those requirements the most difficult is to prove that your business idea is viable as demonstrated in clearly shown cashflows over next 3 to 5 years. This is a big hurdle given the kind of undergraduate education available in Nigeria.

Entrepreneurial studies and business idea development need to replace useless GS courses at the Nigerian universities immediately.

Wow. Thanks to the government.

One thing I've learnt is that getting your business registered with CAC is very important because it acts as a yardstick to be considered for any grant or loan.

So, if you are yet to do it and you're on money then go ahead with it. It's important. And even if you don't have the time then go ahead and commission an agent to take care of it for you.

If I tell you guys the about this things you shake your head in pity for the country..... Fantastic innovations but the many of the front runners are scheming amazing and unimaginable things..... a lot is shrouded in top secrecy and only if you know you know. My only worry when I wish youths should take over the affairs of the country is what many have come to learn and accept as the proper way of doing things because either they are or not benefitting from the rot, despite deceptively portraying themselves as also wanting change, may eventually lead us all back to square one

Please before anyone comes here discourage others from applying. First follow all the procedures and apply, then you'll discover this government is credible when it comes to youth empowerment. During the covid 19 pandemic grant, I missed out because I had the opinion that everything in Naija is about connection but when I saw so many people being paid I had to reapply for the pandemic loan and I got it without knowing anybody. So before you criticise please apply.

I know they'll be people like you, with such negative opinions, but that's the beauty of life. Those that are really destined to get this would still go along and apply and those who will feel discouraged by your postulation would miss out. I repeat it's normal and that's life.

But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. - Mathew 11 v 16 - 19
