NFF need to do more to secure more foreign born players. They need to secure Ejaria, lookman,Olise,Torunarigha and more
NFF need to do more on our youth system.
All our best players r came thru our youth system.
Victor moses is the only true quality we've gotten from abroad,
closely followed by iwobi, the rest r just normal average players, or a little bit above average.

U will be so surprised by d performances d likes of olise and eze will give u by d time they play for us.
National team football is much more difficult than club football.
But ejaria is lookin like he can fit into SEs

Honestly enough of all those nonsense mediocrity here! You can't be dancing around all game while the opposition remains comfortable cos they know your dancing around will never impact the game to your favor.... Our players must learn to be pro - active on the pitch, have a winning mentality, always seeking to hurt the opposition.. That's y I love osimhen and nacho is now trying.!!.. Anyways, back to another matter,

You can't be cheered on by your fans this way and fail to come back home with the victory... See motivation!

Sanusi was amazing today even though he didn't play the full game. We have the midfield to compete with any African team.
A midfield of Ndidi/Onyeka, Aribo/Etebo/Micheal and Iwobi/Iheanacho can match any team on the continent. Balogun/Awaziem, Ekong/Apokguma/Omeruo, Collins/Bassey/Sanusi, Aina/Ebeuhi. Ejuke/Dennis/Simon, Chuks/Kalu. Oshimen/Onachu/Awoniyi.
Those not invited yet: Sadiq/Desser/Ugbo/Okereke/Simy.
I don't see a better team on the continent, maybe a better coach but definitely not a better team.
Olise plays the same role as Aribo at club level. Aribo is a better player!

Zaidu and awaziem are our only defenders now that I genuinely believe can become good or Wc if they improve on their self tremendously. Also, iheanacho is not a midfielder stop these nonsense

He said he prefer osimhen to mbappe and there is nothing wrong about that

Back to our arguement then ,I started the arguement by saying Haaland is better than osimhen ,I didn’t ask anyone or nerdy who do they prefer so please stop lying

Thank you .
The original argument was Halaand is currently better than Osimhen. It was the goodjoe who brought in the issue of preference. you guys refused to get down to that argument with him instead you stuck with the original argument. When it was obvious that the preference line was not being bought by you guys, he said na lack of comprehension. But I could see through the whole thing.

Stop calling him a liar. He was right. The argument was not about who was better. It was preference due to tactics.

I dropped Gabriel Jesus and Aguero's analogy. Showing Aguero was better but Guardiola preferred Gabriel Jesus.

So how was it about better?
The argument was between Andrew and Thesupernerd as to who is better not who prefers who. The supernerd conceded that Halaand is better but that Osimhen is the more complete player. You were the one who veered into the issue of preference specifically mentioning Gaudiola perhaps as an example. And when Andrew and elyte89 refused to join issues with you on the matter of preference, you began saying that the problem is lack of comprehension but I intervened to let you know that it was not lack of comprehension.

You started the argument and I explained to you that it has to do with preference of attributes. TheSuperNerd went ahead to breakdown the attributes. Why did he do that?

It was to show you the reason of preference even though Haaland is rated higher.

At least Walter Sabatini's comment has done the debate justice.
Thesupernerd did not break down attributes to support your narrative of preference but to support his own thesis that Osimhen is the more complete player.

By saying that osimehn is a more complete player is indirectly stating that he is better than haaland. On current form and previous trajectory, he isn’t a more complete player than haaland because haaland is performing his designated role at a world class level and is one of the best at it (Statistically). For example, If I infer that a player like Moses Simon is more complete than messi because he tracks back, defends exquisitely vocal and more disciplined than Messi. I am indirectly inferring that Moses Simon is a better player than Messi. As for me, I rather players prove their self on the pitch by earning that title and doing it unarguably. also players should be judged by their performance, figures, stats of their position “main duty” and not irrelevant stats. You can’t boldly say that Osimehn is more complete than Haaland because “he tracks back”, Defends etc understanding that, the aforementioned isn’t a main requirement of a striker. In the future, osimehn can surpass Haaland (if he earns it) for now, haaland and lewandoski are untouchable

Now you know that a coach or person will prefer a lower rated player over a top rated player due to attributes.

No one, will say Osimhen is better over Haaland because of Haaland is rated higher.

So, he will give his reasons why he prefers Haaland.

All round attributes Is a reason why one will prefer a player over another.
Wine is better than water but water is the more complete drink (this is just an example of the original argument)

Gaudiola prefers water because it is the more complete drink- this illustrates how you decided to frame the argument but it still is not the same thing with the original argument. Perhaps it fits as an extension of the original argument but it is still distinct from it particularly since elyte89 and Andrew refused to follow you in swimming in that and therefore kept the original argument clear.

You are slippery sha.

Yes, everyone should just support osimehn humbly and don’t place unnecessary pressure on the boy because he is super eagles most famous and likely player to be world class on current form

TheSuperNerd's argument is that the attributes show Osimhen as a more complete footballer than Haaland. Despite Haaland being rated highly, (to many people, Haaland is the better player) but to TheSuperNerd, Osimhen is better.

Why does TheSuperNerd feel Osimhen is better? Attributes. He went further to list attributes why HE feels Osimhen is the better player.

That is why I use the term preference.

To explain further,

I used Guardiola, Aguero, Gabriel Jesus triangle to buttress the point. I even pointed Riquelme, Ronaldinho, Pellegrini triangle.

The preference is a person feeling one is better. Due to contribution. But, in rating, the general view takes lead.

Many will not compare Mbappe and Osimhen. It is not even up for debate. But, Walter Sabatini is telling you he will pick Osimhen ahead of Mbappe. He gave his reason.

So TheSuperNerd gave his preference as to why he feels Osimhen is better. That does not mean TheSuperNerd is saying that the general idea of Haaland being better is wrong.

I don't know how else to say it.

Look at yesterday how Guardiola deployed Gabriel Jesus on the right-wing. He looked at ease and efficient there. Some will argue he performs better there.

In Guardiola's tactics, he likes strikers that offer more than finishing. So he preferred Gabriel Jesus.

Attributes make someone rate a player better than what others feel.

So will you tell Walter Sabatini that he is wrong and should always pick Mbappe, because he is the higher rated player?

That is what people are arguing with TheSuperNerd.

Finito.

Yekini today is being celebrated as d best striker Nigeria ever had simply because of his goalscoring achievement,WC after many years ,d record is yet to be broken and not oda attributes of a striker...till today,we re still looking for dt player who will break his records and not someone who will break his defensive aspect as a player

30/35years to dis time, haaland and Osimhen would be remembered by dier goalscoring achievements and nothing more ,when d comparison talks rise again, nobody by den would remember deir defensive or oda attribute stat(oda things to b considered are d personal awards/trophies;if any 4 both players).

At the moment. That is what you should look at. We don't know if Osimhen's goalscoring will go off the charts in the coming years, which I honestly expect.

To your point.

Goals will be celebrated. However, that is an individual celebration. In the modern game, the team has the most importance.

So you might want to celebrate a player for his individual accolades. That means nothing to the coach. The coach is more interested in how many titles he wins, not how many players carried golden boots.

That is why Manchester City has all players contributing to goals. Team work trumps individual accolades.

I hope you get the point, why some coaches will prefer strikers that offer more than just goal scoring.

Gazzetta - Mourinho rejected Osimhen at Tottenham: the Napoli players repeated a sentence of his to charge Victor

24.10.202 107: 50 Editing

Naples football - José Mourinho rejected Victor Osimhen when he led Tottenham. Today's edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport tells this detail, underlining how a phrase of the Portuguese coach has been repeated many times by the Napoli players to further charge Victor.

Osimhen rejected by Mourinho at Tottenham "« If one is afraid of coming to Tottenham because of too much competition, then he cannot play with us ", thoughts and words of José Mourinho who two summers ago" branded "so Victor Osimhen, perplexed in accepting the Spurs proposal risking to to be crushed by the presence of Harry Kane.

Victor chose Naples and hindsight also shows that this was the right environment for his maturation. Indeed we would call it an explosion, because after a difficult first year full of injuries, these first two months have been excellent and the facts speak for themselves: 9 goals in 10 games.

Knowing Victor's pride, his teammates will have repeated that phrase from Mou to load him, to print it in his mind. But in some ways there is none need because the latest version of SuperOsimhen is that of a player always hungry ". Osimhen
