The good people of Awka North thronged in their numbers to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amagu - Ebenebe to receive and welcome the APGA Governorship Candidate, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR and the APGA Campaign Council to their land.

The TC Chairman, Awka North LGA, Hon Ferdinand Onwujie in his opening remark welcomed the APGA Campaign council to see their level of preparation for the forthcoming gubernatorial election that is meant to hold on Nov 6th. "Gov Willie Obiano built projects worth N60 Million in each community in Awka North. The Peter Obi Administration is the major cause of bad roads in Awka North. From Amansea to Ebenebe is bad but Gov Obiano have done the best of his ability. Government is all about continuity and I believe Prof Soludo will complete all the bad roads. We should not allow any other party to come into Anambra! APGA is the best party for Anambra!!. Gov Obiano has assured us that the election will be free and fair! Nobody will rig the election and there won't be violence. I urge everyone to come out and vote for APGA on that fateful day."

Hon Lawrence Onwuzuka, the President General of Achalla Kingdom in his own speech, said the purpose of this gathering today is to make a statement to Gov Willie Obiano that the people of Awka North are solidly behind him. In previous elections, Awka North delivered APGA. "Our major plea is for the incoming administration to help us repair our roads, Awka North 1 and 2 have no roads."

The Former National Chairman of APGA, Chief Sir Victor Umeh (Ohamadike Ndigbo) invited Dunga Anthony Nchekwube (State Auditor, APGA) up on stage! He appreciated everyone for coming and reminded the people before the coming of APGA, that there was no 1KM metre tarred road. "APGA has done various projects in Awka North. Even when I was in the Senate, I built a Health Centre and construction of Bore Holes. The Government have given youths of Awka North political appointments but one thing I want to assure you is that Prof Soludo will continue from where Gov Obiano stopped. APGA is the only Igbo party we have and it's our obligation to vote for APGA which is our own. It will be an abomination to vote for any other party that is not APGA! The Candidate Gov Willie Obiano brought for us to hand over the baton of leadership will perform very well even more than him."

Ohamadike Ndi Igbo said he called APGA Governorship Aspirant, Rt Hon Chukwuma Umeoji on phone to return back to the party and drop all grievances, join hands with the Governorship Candidate of APGA, Prof Soludo to win the election but he is here today at Awka North and he's no where to be found. Dunga addressed the APGA Campaign Council, saying there's no place like home. He admitted that although they supported Hon Umeoji but right now, they are back to the fold to support Prof Soludo and he's assuring them that Awka North will deliver APGA 100%."

The National Chairman of APGA, Ozonkpu Victor Oye asserted the forthcoming election is already approved by God Almighty for APGA to win. The rigging plans opposition parties are hatching will not prevail. APC did not do primaries in Anambra so therefore they have failed already. The DSS and INEC wrote report that APC did not conduct governorship primaries so therefore, it's automatic failure for APC already. Their candidate is using a forged first school leaving certificate. "The only party going for election is APGA! All other parties are pretenders! In the next 2-3 weeks time, work will begin in all the bad roads in Awka North. When Soludo is finally sworn in, he will complete all the roads! During the election day, vote for the party that has symbol of Chicken."

Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR (Odenigbo Old Aguata Union and DikeUdo Isuofia), the APGA Flagbearer handed over the microphone to his deputy Dr Onyeka Ibezim to greet his people. The APGA Deputy Governor greeted everyone that came out and thanked the Campaign Council for selecting him to be deputy. He assured the people that his principal, Prof Soludo is fully prepared and committed to work in Awka North. Prof Soludo in his submission took to cognizance, the building of Polytechnic in Mbaukwu and other achievements of Gov Obiano. He told the people that Awka North is one of his priority projects. He said he will build all the bad roads and bridges in Awka North. He told the people not to listen to the empty promises of other candidates. "We have an agenda for youths and women in Awka North. We will create jobs and empower farmers! Every work Peter Obi did was when he was in APGA. I will build all the roads and complete them rapidly but I seek for your votes. Do not be afraid to come out and vote. Police and Army will be on ground that day to provide security. When you cast your votes, wait till all votes are counted and results released."
