Italy did not teach them anything. The Spaniards outplayed Italy in every part of the game. Italy stayed parked in their half for much of the game because they could not stand the Spanish force.

By the way, Italy won with penalties. Spain played their best game in that match.

I hope you know Spain beat Italy this month in the Nation's League to get to the finals against France. With inexperienced players like Feran Torres, Gavi, Pau Torres etc.

When you see me spark about Rhor and Pinnick, you think I am joking. Look at what Enrique did and built a solid young squad.

If you set up a team with speed, stamina and talent as the key criteria, it is hard to see yourself looking for experience players because old legs can not bring it to the team.

Football is leaving that old way of lethargic football. Now it is more of speed and brilliance. Yet our coach and NFF man wants to pull us back. To bring more old legs.

Going into AFCON I remember we played 0-0 with Cape Verde, drew Burkina Faso and Zambia so what are you talking about? The ivorians were favourite to win the tournament but lost to rookies.

Why I always clamour for experienced players is because since the history of football ( especially international football) experienced teams have been the most successful

I watched the final. It was a beautiful game of football but as far as I am concerned, the better side lost.

Either way, those young boys reached the Semi finals of the Euros and the finals of the Nation's League.

Blows your experience talk away.

in as much as many people are dragging you right now I don't think igahlo is totally needed but he has experience quite all right due to all his years and exploit in Europe which gave him a chance in Manchester united, but I support you on this one in tournament like the world cup there is always something called a stage where men are separated from boys which surly always pan out in every tournament but we have confirmable number of experienced players in the team and what igahlo can give as experience I think amhed Musa will do better considering much even better experienced than igahlo in the national team wink

You can hardly name a successful inexperienced team. They can only cause upsets but when it matters they fail. Look at world cup winners and AFCON winners,it has been more of experienced sides

How much experience was did the Italian side that won France in 2006 WC have? France brought all their experienced players out of retirement and still lost, Nigeria won AFCON in 2013 with rookies against the experienced ivorian side, in 2015 a new crop of CIV won the AFCON, 2017 Cameroon won the AFCON with half of their squad playing for the first time and massive squad withdrawal. France won the world cup in 2018 against a more experienced Croatian side so where does this your argument fit in please?

It is normal to be afraid but don't use your yardstick of measurement to say this team won't do well. They will gather the experience required. This same inexperience team Brazil couldn't win

Chief you have good reason to be sceptical about the SE chances next year year but using your experience and Ighalo argument doesn't add validity to the point you are trying to pass. If you had based your arguments solely on the tactical capabilities of Rohr and the rest of the coaching crew then I would have heard you.

I watched too much football to completely dismiss our team's chances next January. Who knows a combination of the right formation, form and dumb luck could just propel the team to victory. I will continue to be optimistic and hope for the best if we don't do well it's nothing new it happens and the heavens will not collapse. If after not qualifying for AFCON and WC we are still moving it's definitely not next year that will faze me.
