Why I understand this is politics, and understand that politics and money are synonymous especially in Nigeria, I am often wary of businessmen like these in public office. He will set out to recoup his ‘investment’ multiple fold if elected into office

Then tell me why a businessman will spend billions of naira just to earn around 5million monthly(excluding allowance). Some governors do not even care about there salary.

Any MONEY invested in your Community and State is never a waste.
When you return from ABROAD you will walk in the streets of your community with raised shoulders while some will be heavily guarded with DSS and ARMY for the rest of their lives.

IF I toil Abroad finish and succeed yet the community that gave birth to me and purged me out into the Western world no come benefit na CURSE be that.

He’s not wasting it. Soludo that stole from CBN what has he done for his state with the embezzled funds? You don’t need to hold a political position before you start supporting your people. I’m from Edo state and I already wish I could vote in Anambra cos of this Man. He’s the right leader the South South needs for presidency hence let him begin with being a governor
