charlesemeka85: Is Rhor not showing bias? Why are you guys always quick to equate Nigerian coaches with bribe and not doing good job when we had Bonfere Jo drop Emmanuel Babayaro for Dosu based on backhand deal. Is it not Rhor that will carry a clubless Musa and keep fielding him? Is it not Rhor that overlooked Ejuke for ages? If it was a Nigerian coach you guys will scream bribe. Is it not shady deal that landed Rhor a two million dollars contract clause? Is it not shady deal that has Rhor sharing salary? |

charlesemeka85: Did Van Gaal have most teams in England, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and others playing that way? That is different from Pep. In Spain, Germany, and now in England, Pep holds classes training coaches in it. Pep made his training and tactical sessions public in a dvd, so coaches can learn. It is not just about winning with it but influencing a change. |

TheGoodJoe:majority say that local coaches are corrupt and bias because they make it very obvious, it has eaten deep into the society that everyone sees it as normal hustle or means of survival Rohr never forced pinnick to give him such contract to sign so your blame should go to the football house not the German When it comes to salary sharing that’s his personal agreement with the football chiefs and in as much it doesn’t disrupt his team selection it’s none of our business What matters is his output/result and performances with the team on the pitch also calling up players that deserves to be called up not a local coach that will accept to be paid 10k usd monthly and will make up his short in cash by accepting bribe from agents to field their players I have not to say about the dosu inclusion to the Atlanta team cus I don’t know much about it but musa’s continuous invitation to the super eagles even when he was clubless or underperforming is far beyond what the both of us know Do you know certain players are very powerful in the team that no matter their current club or performance stat they must get a call up? What about shehu in Cyprus when we have better players in main stream European clubs? I bet you do not know much about the politics and power play in the glasshouse |

The question is why do I insist on Amunike? Why must it be him? Brief history. I wanted Rijkaard sacked for Guardiola. Rijkaard was the far more experienced coach. Coached the Dutch National team and won the league with Barcelona and the Champions League. Why want a rookie over a legend? TACTICS IS KING. When once you think that way, you see things differently. Rijkaard alongside Neeskens his assistant were tactical whizzes. But, in the Barcelona academy, we saw something different. The idea of taking offensive possession football to another level. Holding the ball was king, keeping it was essential, and winning it back as fast as possible was vital. If you watch that Guardiola's Barca B team and then, imagine what will happen if the main Barca team did so, it was a no-brainer. I still believe it cuts across all football. That is why when you compare Rohr and Amunike, and we talk tactics, it is not even a debate. Amunike trumps him tactically and everyone in the NFF know it. |

charlesemeka85: You don't know what Rhor did or don't. What we know is that he is part of the business of an inflated contract that makes him unsackable. That is bias and corrupt. If it was Siasia or Keshi, you people would have burnt them alive. Hence it is a white man, you guys turn your eyes and say most say black coaches are corrupt. Is Alardyce Black? It is just an illusion. |

TheGoodJoe:I already discussed about osimehn unprofessional attitude at raising his hands when his teammates misplace a pass. but, to not celebrate when your teammate and the designated penalty taker score is just Self-centered. I am glad that, he is at a club that loves and wants him to succeed. He is a potential superstar, but there are certain things that he needs to improve on tremendously in order to move to the next level |

charlesemeka85: Rhor is part of the corrupt ring. His only saving grace is that he is white. If it was Keshi that Salisu collected that bribe for, most of you will crucify him. If it was Keshi with such contract, you will call him corrupt. If it was Keshi that has a deal to share an inflated salary you will call him corrupt. Hence Rhor is white, he is clean as an angel. |

TheGoodJoe:i never told you rohr is a saint but whatever he is doing behind the scene can never be as open and porous like that of any local coach that will take charge of given the opportunity |

TheGoodJoe:oga white or no white I don’t care You are the one playing the racial card here. I never told you rohr is a saint and whatever contract he signed with the nff is his business not mine My only concern is the performance of the team and the caliber of players been invited for certain games Person wey negotiate em salary and accept to Dey give cut to his ogas wetin concern me? You should shift the blame and accusation mostly to the ogas that proposed such dubious contract to him |

TheGoodJoe:that amodu shuaibu own pain me bro and the way dey give our indigenous coaches job isn't different from putting someone in prison because they will never have up to 80% say on the team couple with agent's bring shady deals and some of their padi trying to force unwanted players on them. ![]() |

TheGoodJoe:nope it can never be compared with what played out few years back that local coaches hv managed the team |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:21pm On Oct 28, 2021*. Modified: 9:10am On Oct 29, 2021 |
So I believe an offensive possessive strategy is the right direction for our team. With a lot of the modern attributes of the game attached to it. Zone play, zone marking, zone press, keeping possession, precise build up plays, quick interchange of passing channels, defensive ball playing etc. Most high grade modern coaches are hot properties. We are not landing Lopetegui, Moreno, Nagelsmann, or Roberto Martinez soon. So if we look into a pure search for a tactical master that is well versed in the passing game, has a history with the current top players, and also has the charisma, we can not look far from Amunike. If we want a coach that can select a natural ball playing keeper, or defenders with passing and ball retention ability, and can train them in the modern art, it is hard to look past Amunike. Keep in mind he is well versed in our local football scene. And has eyes for youth players. As long as I believe TACTICS IS KING, Amunike remains my pick unless you have a better tactical option. |

TFLASHOGEE:that is the major problem. The local coaches seem not to care about the amount that is being offered to them hence they hv the Avenue of making more from player racketting and egunje from agents If for instance amuneke is hired and offered the same amount rohr is been paid or even more I bet you he won’t try messing up by been bribed with 2k to 5k usd just to field a player from an obscure league and club But the urge to manage the national team knowing they have another Avenue to take in cash is too juicy for them to turn down no matter the little amount offered to them in their contract by the FA |

12large1:Stop this "Moses Simon" is a complete winger talk.. Because Rohr task him with the responsibility of tracking back to help the team defend doesn't make him a better winger... And there's no statistic to back up the claim that he is even good defensively...The guy is an old-school winger... If you are looking for a winger with complete output on both ends, look no further than Sadio Mane...He is the complete package... |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:23pm On Oct 28, 2021 |
charlesemeka85: What you heard are just rumors. Rhor's own, we are seeing it in front of our eyes. The current assistant coach to Rhor was collecting bribe to field players. Rhor is sharing his inflated salary open. Rhor is calling players that don't have to come near the team like Izunwa and Musa. The media is not on him because he is white. |

charlesemeka85: Fact is that the racial card is in play. That is why you can tag black coaches currupt despite the likes of Alardyce being exposed. The match fixing going on in Europe, don't you know whites take center stage? Oliseh lost his job in Europe because he refused to do corrupt act. |

charlesemeka85: what other evidence do you want when Rhor himself said his salary he is signing for is being shared? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 11:31pm On Oct 28, 2021 |
TheGoodJoe:alardyce was exposed and I won’t say I don’t know that Also I know of the olise case at sittard, mind you I am not saying rohr isn’t corrupt but his is not as obvious of that of our local coaches If you are tagging him corrupt because of his salary sharing with his ogas in the nff then that is a different ball game from another perspective and dimension What I tag corrupt in my own case is player racketting and the acceptance of egunje to field undeserving players at the expense of better ones in better clubs and performances Wetin concern me with who rohr Dey share em salary with? Na my salary abi contract? |

andrewbaba44:you are making excuses for him, notwithstanding am not a Messi fan but his mediocre stat in Frances doesn’t blind me from admitting the fact that he is if not the best to ever play the game I always do tell pple that Messi and Ronaldo even if both don’t score 10 goals each in their news clubs has nothing to prove to anyone because they have been up their and ahead of others for the past 10 or 15 years and have won both club, national team and personal accolades to show for their exploits in the game which cements their place in the list of the greatest players of all time |
