Hubby and I had a long talk yesterday and have decided to test by may ending to c if his sperm has been boosted.he says if still negative we may consider donor sperm/iui/ivf or wateva the doc suggests best.
For now its fingers crossed/hoping for the best.

seanbell, i read your story but you may need to listen to mine and then may be you would see a need to praise GOD. i have been married for roughly 18months and am till believing GOD to answered prayers already , anyway we have tried having a baby for over a year from 2010/2011 NOTHING happened,in fact other people in my office who got married at the same time with me have had there babies. we have done several test but all seems to be well. now we decided to go spiritual seeking God's face we connected with some ''men of GOD'' . one of the men of GOD advised my wife to pray and fast for 21 days, during the 21 days fasting she would only take beans and pap nothing like OIL , no meat etc . it was a terrible time she looked so fragile and frail during the period. after that encounter nothing happened, so i decided to confide in another man of GOD from a very strong bible believing church , he counseled us that we need to go and meet one baba in another church that the baba would give specific direction, do you know that the BABA in question advised that the issue is not medical that all we needed to do is to go and EAT ASEJE , ASEJE it's like a sacrifice offered to IDOLS, that only after EATING the concoction, my enemies wife bare a child, we fled the man's place like a bird. we are till waiting and believing for GOD for the best. its would be 2yrs in August. i say to you be STRONG and stand firm in GOD.

I went for a transvaginal scan today. They said the uterus is normal, saw follicles maturing. They don't do hsg even tho I wanted to. They prefer sonogram or hystersomethingsomething to check the tubes.

I also gave dem blood samples for further hormone analysis. DH will also go for blood test and maybe fluid test as well.

I am more dan ready to breastfeed a baby! The breast is no longer for yanga!

May is my month of bfp!I claim this by faith!

I pray the results for your husband's test will be encouraging inshort a BFP will be in line before he retest, so God can take the Glory. That happened to a friend of mine they were told they could not get preg. due to male issues and her DH was referred to a specialist he canceled his first appointment and rescheduled by the next appt. she had a BFP.

like Rocksqueen said in a previous post, she surronds herself with friends that are also TTC. I joined a prayer group of TTC ladies in my area and i attended the last meeting because DH and I are not telling anyone outside family until 12 weeks. i felt like was betraying them. But I just prayed so hard that God will bless THEM too. I also took the time to pray for all you ladies on this thread. I know that it is not because i prayed for you but because God honors His word and will be merciful to all of you including me, that is why He will answer our prayers. Our next meeting is on Thursday and I plan to attend as well to pray for them, until i tell them- do you guys think that is okay? will you feel betrayed by a friend who does this ?

Finally, i have a close friend who is TTC as well(although she has being TTC longer than me) and of this morning she sent me a text to encourage me and give me a new doctor referal we see each other atleast 3 time a week and I felt like telling her but not sure how to tell her. i know she will be happy for me and i will probably cry when i tell her. but I just know it can be such an emotional rollercoaster i have been there before.

Finally Finally, i plan to continue to visit and encourage us all. am still yet to post the points from the book TCOF but it is just alot of information and some of it has been posted by seanbell and Ebony13. will work on it this weekend, I promise.

@Shiloh, it is very well my dear. The bible says that no woman shall be barren in they land, this means we are all fertile jet waiting on God's perfect timing. DELAY IS NOT DENIAL.

@Mistia, am glad your results came back fine. My HSG is in about 4weeks, so am being very hopeful.

@camrygmail, personally I don't think thrs anything wrong in that. Even doctors advised you to not tell anyone until after your first trimester. Your not lying to them, your just threading carefully...that's all. How far along are you now?

@camrygmail. If its me, I'll tell that my close friend that my motherinlaw says her pastor instructed that I shld stop all treatments that God has a surprise for me! When am about to reveal,I'll tell her that my menses has been coming but its not been flowing well. If she insists that I should go and test, I'll tell her am scared that I'll like to wait another month. She will most likely begin to pray for me and when I announce it,even when she's sad about hers,she'll be happy for me cos she'll know her prayers helped.
I have a friend that was ttc with me. I used to give her pointers cos she didn't know much about ovulation, timing,etc. Do u know she's the only person that has told me about a bfp that I didn't feel bad for myself? Infact my joy knew no bounds! Funny enuff she had her baby on my birthday. I still love hanging with her! We still talk about ttc.

Now my question is-can staph infection deter one frm gettin preggy?also,I wld like an advice frm anyone who's treated it to give me guidelines on ow to go bout it. Sorry bout the test result. Staph is a contaminant according to my gynae. It can be anywhere, even on our skin. The tests can be contaminated by even the skin of a careless attendant at the lab and den it will definitely grow staph. I have treated enuf staph following results from labs in my lifetym. Not until I started going to reputable clinics did they stop seeing the staph infection in my specimen culture. So u may need to go for a second opinion cos u may just be flooding ur system with antibiotics.

Meanwhile sumtin tells me we'll soon get soliciting visitors #justsaying

Believer,I don't have TTc friends as well all have kids or currently knocked up.Because of how private i am,my parents and inlaws feel i may be preggers and i don't just want to tell,lol.Can you imagine?I come here too to draw strength and ofcourse encourage my friends on here.

Camrygmail,it is your decision to make.It is very wise to be very cautious during the 1st trimester.
There is no easy way out of this,except that in the end you will have to tell them and maybe bear some sort of backlash and small small gossip(women palava).Please,tell your close friend if you feel you have to..she will definitely cry and feel bad but as a good friend she will be happy for you and also tap into your blessing.

@july16, think you should seek anothe medical opinion. A doc once said that oftentimes staph is detectd in blood tests/semen samples.When in small amounts,its nothing to worry about.
Try detoxifying your systems as well.I take Forever aloe vera Nectar gell.Its very good for the females,unirary tract infections and all.Ur hubby can take the Aloe vera gell.

collected my HSG result yesterday and it states thus:A slightly bulky uterine cavity demonstrated. Both Fallopian tubes are outlined with free peritoneal spillage of contrast. confirming tubal patency. . Am yet to get to my doc on this. @ all sprinkling baby dust everywhere.

Nothing Special,Still taking parlodel.Have an appointment with the RE in about 3 weeks.I guess they will punch my arms and take bloods again for further tests.I also will be getting an MRI soonest.

Hello everyone here.I have been a silent follower of this thread n am amazed at the level of encouragement I see.I would like to be a friend here too.Almost four years in marriage now and trusting God for His best.Nipple discharge has been there,I did a test to check for prolactin level which came back normal.Blood was taken again for complete hormonal profile,results should be out tommorrow.Also treating infection for now n dh is undergoing treatment for low fluid count n infection,after which a repeat test would be done.Thanks all in anticipation for a warm reception.

God is your strength.Is the discharge from one side or both?I am glad your prolactin is normal,mine was sky high.Hope they tested more than once oo!In some places,they take the levels of prolactin,3 samples over 30 minutes each just to be sure.There could be other causes though for the discharge though.You can check this link

ohk so i missed my bbt charting for about 3 days, the morning before we travelled it went down from 36.4 to 36.2, i also noticed alot of discharge for those few days and this morning when i checked it was 36.7 ,hope it remains high so i can join the 2ww.

@Slimphemmie, welcome too. Whr exactly are you located? That will help in recommending a hospital or Doctor.
You said you were diagnosed wit Low progesterone, what treatments did your Dr recommend? And are you checking to see if your levels are improving? Low Progesterone is enough to make you unable to concieve so you have to be on treatment for that.
Another important thng to know when TTC is your cycle, knowing if you ovulate and if you do when exactly you ovulate. Do you have regular period? That will help you to know what your ovulation schedule shuld look like.. But OPK's help too, I personally like the clear blue digital one.

Weight is important too, and I think 49kg is underweight for your height. So you might want to add some weight.
Another important thng to do is to start taking prenatal vitamins, that helps prepare your body.
Some Drs also say you shuld stop taking alcohol and caffiene.
This are the thngs off the top my head, the other ladies wil contribute too.

Most importantly, you need to find a very gud Obgyn that will guide you thru this process.
Jst have faith dear, it is well IJN...Amen. God will definitely see us all thru this journey.

This morning i just want us all to look back and the present and COUNT OUR BLESSINGS not our losses. I want us all to forget all that we've not acheive but look at those ones that we've OVERCAME. Let us all think of what we are GRATEFUL for and not what make us weep, and with these i know we will be able to run this race with a better attitute and courage.

As for me, am grateful this morning that God has given me a wonderful man who did not view me as a broken baby making machine but as partner and friend. Am thankful that at least am able to TTC, there are some of my mates that are yet to get married not to talk of TTC . Am grateful that God provided me with good finance to be able to carry out tests, buy drugs, buy OPKs and HPTs every month, other dont have money to even carry out test to know what is wrong with them. And lastly but by no means the least, ang grateful that I have hope that tomorrow will be better and that because He said 'No one will miscarry or be barren in the Land' I am sure my BFP is just a around the corner.

So friends, this morning let us pause for a while and stop all complains about AF, Miscarriages, late O, HSG, Scanning, blocked tubes etc and COUNT OUR BLESSINGS AND LAID THEM DOWN ONE BY ONE AND SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE OR WILL DO IN OUR LIVES THIS WEEK AND THE NEW MONTH.

Hello ladies. It is well in Jesus' name. I wish to draw your attention to my earlier contribution on page 74. At this juncture I will state a testimony by a Tianshi Distributor who is a medical personnel. This was given at one of our Tianshi Business Meetings. @seanbell: partner how r u? Sorry I was MIA. DH got back from his trip last wk n it was "fun Knackson" (not ttc own) all thru. Still on bromocriptine, no side effect n I only pray it doesn't mess up my O n menses. Am on CD24 n no sign and feeling of anything (either O, AF or PG) . Am actually feeling like a girl dat has not experience puberty. Lol. But I'll check d gyn tomorrow mornin to know wats up.
@zenoj: welcome on board. I sometimes ve discharge too mostly b/4 and during O n dat is when I secrete more. Some gyn told me its a normal thing to my body n one of my many symptoms of O n some said it was staph n I kept wasting money on insertion, antibiotics, test n even herbal drugs which shows nothing. I letter found out that its when am seriously stressed or BD moved that I see it. As long as its not greenish n yellowish in colour accompanied with itching n odor. Like my gyn will say discharge has no relationship with gettin preg. they r two separate things. But I'll advice u seek 2nd or 3rd opinion n try to understand ur body cos we all ve diff bodies.
